"Bama only cares about football"
Keep repeating that tired old line and maybe it will become true. Alabama was #31 in the country in basketball attendance (4th in the SEC behind Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas) as recently as the year before last when many Bama fans had already jumped off the Grant bandwagon. We've been ranked around the same spot or higher nationally in attendance for the last 40 years.

Is Grant coaching again the Illini in the NIT?

Not sure.
I looked at the attendance numbers closer. Alabama has finished outside the Top 40 nationally only twice since 2003. Auburn and LSU (the 2 fanbases that remind us we only care about football the most) haven't finished INSIDE the Top 40 even once during that span.
Edit...Correction: LSU has finished inside the top 40 in attendance once since 2003. (#37 one year)

since Grant was only 4-1 against Bruce Pearl in his career and beat him twice this year.

Grant beat Pearl twice this year and was 4-1 all time against him.
I'm not sure why 'bama fans love to spout this complete nonsense. I guess it's proof that they didn't watch 'bama basketball even at the beginning of Grant's career there.

Any program at any level in any sport is at a cross road with a new HC hire.

Pretty simple. Do a little research and then come back here and let us know the actual record.

I neither made the original statement nor called it a lie. I simple asked the poster who called it a lie to set the record straight and post the true numbers. Now if YOU are babysitting for the poster, then YOU need to "do a little research and then come back here and let us know the actual record." You called the man a liar...prove it!

Here's some research for you, bud...
Grant was 2-0 against Pearl this year.
How about that? Cool, huh?

If the man's facts are wrong...just give us the right ones!...it ain't hard to do...really!

Hey, congrats. You got that one right.
Now tell us the correct all-time record.
Now tell us the correct all-time record.

I'm working on it, jackass.
I don't think there's anyone else here who is genuinely such a prick as you are.
Congrats.

Looks like maybe 3-1 instead?
Is that what you wanted me to conclude?
My bad. I'll go back and edit my posts to reflect the fact that Anthony Grant has only lost to Bruce Pearl once. Ever. And that was in his first year at Bama.

You're still having aneurysms over this statistic? That's like four or five days running. Like me, most folks didn't consider Pearl's suspension by the SEC in 2011. You're literally losing your cool over Grants' actual 2-1 record versus Pearl, as opposed to the incorrectly stated 3-1 record.

Enter Anthony Grant:
2009-2010: Bama played UT once and lost
2010-2011: Bama played UT once and won
Exit Bruce Pearl at UT
Enter Bruce Pearl at AU
2014-2015: Bama played AU twice and won twice
Did I miss a game where Anthony Grant coached against Pearl while Pearl was out of coaching as the VP of Marketing for H.T. Hackney?

This thread got me thinking:
Is this the most heavy-handed imagery in movie history?
I feel like the director was like, "Get it guys? Get it? He's at a crossroads in his life and he is LITERALLY also at a crossroads. Seriously, do you get it?"
