The first game will be played in Morgantown on Sept. 5, 2026, and the second game will be played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Sept. 4, 2027.

I’m jealous of not being able to go to camp Randall. Lambeau was cool , but I want the college game day experience that you will see.
Also, three games with USF is a great play.
This will HELP* keep bama in Florida’s recruiting circles.
*youre already in them.

Every Power Five series of football starting after 2021 for Alabama is a Home and Homer

Bama will probably back out of the home and home just like they did with Michigan State and others.

Which others would those be?
Instead of a home and home with Michigan State we played 2 neutral site games against Southern Cal and Florida State.

Nice!
We all see that Duke trash though.

Michigan St was also offered a neutral site game in return but they declined.

I guess I just assumed others, Michigan State was the only one I can think of. My bad. Playing Michigan State in the South isn’t exactly a neutral site btw.

Does it really matter? Two of the most lopsided physical beat downs of Power 5 teams in the Saban era have been when Alabama played MSU (38-0 in the Playoff and 49-7 in the Cap One Bowl). MSU was let off the hook by Alabama deciding that the USC and FSU neutral site games were better for the program.
I thought Kirk Cousins might actually die in that bowl game.

Those were definitely some beat downs. Probably would’ve been another beatdown down in Alabama, but they may had a shot in East Lansing. Michigan State has been a better program than FSU and USC for the most part recent years (minus an FSU natty in 2013, but I think that 2013 MIchigan State team would’ve beaten them. Lost one game on the road that year with bullshite officiating at Notre Dame).

Bama was givena guarantee of about $11 million for replacing those two games. A home and home with MSU would have netted about $3 million. MSU was offered the option of being one of our neutral site opponents those two seasons, but declined.

How the hell is Alabama schedule to play AT USF. I understand its a 2 for 1 but Alabama isn't a school that really needs to schedule those.

I think it's great to play a solid upper-G5 team 3 times in 3 years. And, we are playing a road game in a NFL stadium in Florida. We basically get the perks of the neutral site game (including in all liklihood a near even or better fan split) without it being a neutral site game.
And we get a solid secondary home opponent for 2 years. It's exactly the kind of stuff we as fans asked for.

Eh. I'm with Saban on scheduling. We should play only Power 5 teams and after multiple neutral site trips the last decade I'm pretty much over them. I would much prefer college campuses than NFL stadiums.
