Bama has a solid team. Not sure why you guys are so down on this year's team. If you guys could rebound, you'd be in the Top 20 right now. Losing to Kentucky (even in a blow out) and losing two SEC road games by a combined four points is hardly anything to get discouraged about. Your schedule gets way easier from here on out, and I think you'll go 11-7 or better in SEC play.

I don't think it's necessarily a shock to see a team of college basketball players have better luck hitting wide open 3's as opposed to the contested 3's they're used to getting. Every team we play tends to do a pretty good job of making their open 3's.
Still completely disgusted by our defensive strategy and ineptness (offensive efficiency) against a zone. Why do we no longer get the ball to the top of the box, ever, against a zone?
With that said, good win. One that we needed very badly after last week. Hopefully this will be the start of a nice winning streak and we can build up some momentum.
Madden actually played better. Not great, but better. Maybe he'll get his shite together.

The offense has no problems against a zone when proper spacing and ball movement take place.
They do it at times, a good example was tonight were a court reversal via 3 passes led to a wide open shot for Qualls in the corner.
The main problem is dribbling at the wing or top of the key trying to get the ball to the FT line, if it isn't there, the ball shouldn't touch the ground, a few passes then court reversal will open up the center of a zone or a wide open three will result via the way the defense rotates. Its a take what they give situation while a few players try to force things too often.

You just can't rebound. South Carolina and Arkansas both beat Alabama solely because of Alabama's inability to limit their offensive rebounds. Otherwise, those games aren't close.
