If Milroe starts next year, I will not watch Alabama football next year....I'd be in favor of canning Deboer if Milroe started next year.

RPO … get some way to involve Milroe’s legs, or to have that option .

Made absolutely zero sense for them to go with the offense they did. I don't think Milroe is that good, but the scheme for him was horrible IMO.

How did this team beat Mizzou?

they played Mizzou’s awful backup qb.

Same guy who threw 3 TDs vs. OU and rallied Mizzou with a game-tying TD in the final minute. Pyne was certainly awful in the Bama game, but he's a serviceable SEC backup.

Milroe isn't great but the coaching staff did a miserable job with him this year. Scheme did not play to his strengths at all.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a college quarterback get worse each game for 2 years as I have this year. Milroe played himself right into “undrafted” status. Who in the hell is giving him money to play qb in the pro’s?

Bama in 2 games this year is running the f’kn ball down 2 scores, because they know he is going to do something stupid with the football. DeBoer created a hell of a hole for himself, with a defense that plays well enough to win.

Dude you are deranged with Bama hate.

Radio gave Michigan the ball 4 times in Bama territory, 3 times within the 30.

The defense otherwise held them to 3 points, the only thing you can put on Deboer is not pulling Milroe. The game was fricking 13-3 after those 4 turnovers.

Deboer is fine

I don't hate Bama, fact of the matter is I'm a Bama fan....yes I'm a UK fan but only because my wife went to UK. Been a Bama football fan most of my 66 yrs.. I'm pissed they lost....especially to a little 10 team, I'm not a fan of Deboer and thought he was the wrong hire, not who I was hoping Byrne would hire. And in my opinion he isn't cut out for the high pressure job which is Alabama Football, he's not a disciplinarian and it shows in the teams undisciplined play and actions on the field. It's a stark contrast from Saban to Deboer.

I pray I'm wrong and will gladly eat some fried crow if it works out that he fields championship caliber teams...I truly hope that's the case, but I just don't see it and many other Bama fans don't either. Tell me his teams are well prepared.......were they prepared against Vandy, UT, Oklahoma??? Were they prepared against Michigan? There's only one game where they looked truly prepared and that was against the UGA. Milroe was a bit of a liability too...especially when he's off, but the O line wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire. We'll see what Deboer does next season......if he doesn't win at least 10 regular season games then in my opinion thats more regression. Again, I hope I'm very wrong and may very well be, but it's my privilege to express my opinion just as it is yours sir.

You guys beat Ohio State with this team. Not bad
Michigan lost the most experience of any of the 4 playoff teams last year, by far.

With a depleted roster, they got crushed by Texas, they beat Ohio State, again, and beat Alabama, again, to go 2 & 1.

Heck of a job for Michigan.

Square peg round hole, but he doesn’t see the receiver coming open until the window closes.

Saban allowed the QB position to get bad like he did around 2014. Then instead of getting a transfer he went with Milroe. When he tried to make a change the players revolted and said that Milroe won the locker room....If Saban had listened to his assistant coaches and got rid of Milroe when they told him too we would have never had Milroe. So all this Milroe shiit boils back to bad decision by Saban because offense was his biggest weakness.

It's a bit more complicated than that.

Players wield a LOT more power now; if he thinks half his team will transfer because he benches a QB that everyone loves then what are you supposed to do?

Can't do that in the NFL; it's a specifically unique problem to college football.

am I wrong? Poetic that the drive ended exactly 15 yards short of a TD.

You aren’t really wrong, but what about the excellent punt return by Williams? Alabama had opportunities, even on the last drive. We simply didn’t take advantage of them.

This sucks.

After calling tDecline all year, seeing it coming a mile away, and watching it unfold just as I thought it would, I can't even enjoy it because Tennessee sucks, too.
