I'm not sure if you watched MSU at all last year, but our QB was Chris Relf. We made due, but our offense this year is miles ahead of last year.

I think he was talking about LSU

Alabama always plays down to State. Either that or State always plays up to Alabama.

That's too damn high, IMO. The final will be something around 24-10 or 28-13.

As much as I like picking at them, the Bulldogs are a solid squad.

Sev, you'd better pray your anemic offense improves over the next week! Bamas d is better than last yrs and your offense is worse!

Try harder.

We are on pace to be the best scoring offense in the history of Mississippi State.

Turn towards the east and start praying to Lenard Skynard and the Stars and Bars.

A pretty good indicator of where a line will/should be is the Sagarin 'predictor'

According to that, LSU is a 20 point dog to Bama.

Hell, Alabama would've only won 17-7 last season against State had Richardson not beasted his way into the endzone with less than two minutes left.

I don't think he was ever tackled in that game. Guy was an animal in 2011. 5 games with 150+ yards, 7 games with 2+ TDs.

It is actually pretty good, if you look at it in the context of your own record books...

Largely why I think this game can and should be fairly close. Alot more concerned about AJ beating us with his arm this year though...

We held Richardson in check until he wore our D completely out in the 4th.

Thru 3 quarters:
Richardson had a total of 56yds on 19 carries

In the 4th:
Richardson had 13 for 71yds and a TD...including 9 straight carries in one series for a total of 43 yards that daggered us...

Alabama is very balanced. You're gonna have to sell out to stop the run (like Ole Miss did on 9/29) or sell out to stop the pass. Either way, you're going to get a HEAVY dose of Lacy/Yeldon if Alabama has a lead in the second half.

That's Alabama's gameplan in essence. They're gonna punch you in the mouth until you finally give up.
