It makes all the sense in the world to pull for bama because it will be for the better as far as our strength of schedule goes if we do in fact beat them... But I will not "pull" for them, I can't do it. I'll probably find myself cheering for Penn st periodically just because its bama.
I don't want anyone to win but it would make sense to prefer Bama to win for our purposes

Now that LSU is ranked above Alabama in one of the polls will you be pulling for LSU against WV? Truthfully, did you pull for LSU against Oregon??

I'm just rooting for a good game. Two of the top programs in college football history going at it. I'm just going to watch and enjoy.

Well, I am still pulling for Bama although in a close game. I would guess if you sampled the Bama fans about who they will be pulling for in the LSU-WV game, you'll get a pretty similar reaction to LSU fans in this thread

I'm apathetic towards this game, no real reason to dislike Penn St. For LSU the game has no barring, we will still have to play and beat BAMA and ARKy for a chance to play in ATL.

I firt pull for Bama... have so for 20+ years and secondly I always pull for LSU.
I have been to a few LSU home games and their fans are a blast in the glass to party with.

Hell yes, I pulled for LSU and will pull for LSU. I hate the other tigers, not you guys. Why wouldn't I pull for LSU to frick up the 'eers?

LSU needs Alabama to win. LSU needs a top 5 showdown with Bama in the national spotlight ala Oregon and LSU needs to win. That will keep LSU in the forefront of everyone's mind for the election of BCSNC game participants.

I say Roll Tide. I absolutely cannot stand PSU. We had 2 chances to knock those suckers off and lost both times and the arrogance of JOe Pa and after beating us in the Orange Bowl still chaps my rear end. I realize that the Mud Bowl game could have turned out differently, but as soon as the game was over one of the PSU posters got on here and started running down the south and talking about slavery and the Civil War and all kind of crap . Chicken and Admins finally whacked him before it got too far. Cant stand them and I hope the Tide stomps a mud hole in them and stomp it dry . Roll Tide and can only make the SEC look even stronger which we now need after losses to Boise State and BYU and the tough game with Utah State.
