Alabama - Penn St...Just curious who everyone is pulling for in this game

I'm pulling for Bama in a close game. Even though I enjoy watching Bama lose, Bama winning helps our SOS. Also, losing an OOC game has no bearing on the SEC race, and our chances of qualifying for SECC game.

I hate Bama with such a visceral passion that I can't find it in me to pull for them anytime or anywhere unless it's the BCS national championship game and I want the SEC to win. And that's really tough to do.

After the Ole Miss and UGA losses, I guess I'm reluctantly pulling for Bama, much as it pains me to do so. They should win comfortably anyway, unless weather keeps it close. It's supposed to rain all week up there.

I don't understand that logic. We should hope the only loss Bama encounters is to us unless one is needed to improve our standing in the SEC West.. Clearly we should not be pulling against them in a non conference game.

ETA: And yes, I understand math and all that crap. But I don't like Bama, and I'll just expect LSU to win all its games. So Bama losing shouldn't affect LSU.

Penn State. I never understood this we have to cheer for the SEC team no matter what that has been going around here for a while.

I don't automatically pull for SEC teams. I pull for LSU and Bama winning this game is BEST for LSU.

LSU doesn't need Bama to win. If we win our games there is no way we will be out of the top two anyway. It won't matter, Penn State doesn't have an offense that can put up any points against Bama.
