Forgive me if this is out but there appears to be one regarding the recent accident that killed a staffer and a player from UGA. I dont have access to AJC. Can someone who does please highlight the main points.

It throws shade on the recently deceased by getting city camera footage show them leaving the local titty bar downtown, not much other info in the story that wasn't already known. Then they say they are stalking other football players to track their habits and places of leisure.

It was written entirely in German. Can’t translate it.

The big scoop for me was that there is a strip joint in Athens.

Toppers was probably the first building built in the town after the University was established and will be there long after Armageddon.

Probably a week too early to release but that’s how news rolls these days. Prayers for their families but there will be a lot of stories coming outta this.

The lights are bright for UGA. I understand you're not used to that and it's documented.

I think I recall seeing they were on video leaving 30 minutes after the place closed

30 minutes after last call. Everything in Athens "closes" at 2AM if they serve alcohol. So you get your last drink, finish it, then leave. This is standard operating procedure in Athens. There is nothing nefarious about this. It's the AJC trying to be sensationalist.

"Our in depth research here from the AJC News Desk on google says the establishment closes at 2, but the cameras show they didn't come out until 2:30......"

Excellent investigative journalism. Top Shelf!

Young people out partying. Not against the law. If the toxicology report shows the driver had a high alcohol level then that may become a problem. She was a University employee. I know the father said they were not going to sue the university, but people have been known to change their minds.

I don't disagree with any of this.

I have heard of people's family who has sued an establishment as they allowed patrons to leave while intoxicated and thus killed people with their cars in an accident. Either way there will be a lot of people digging deep to decide how to proceed if litigation is involved.
