Anyone else think that AJ is douchey? I somewhat liked him until he screamed like a bitch to Barrett Jones with six minutes left in a game where Bama was killing their competition.

I was like, "Dude, WTF? You're going to win a national championship in about 10 minutes. Why are you getting up in your teammate's face? There can be only one answer - Douche! Barrett should have done more than push you away. Should've knocked your head clean off!"

And then when people naturally ogle his girlfriend on twitter, he douches it up again with bitchy remarks that she's with him because he's a winner. Well, there you go AJ McDouchon. You've unwittingly predicted the future. The moment you cease being a winner, that girl is gone, bro!

The best moment of last night was when the media interviewed Barrett Jones post-game. They asked him about the McCarron/Jones love spat late in the 4th Quarter.

He said, "He’s an emotional guy, and we had a snap count difference. I was right … but whatever."

I became a Barrett Jones fan at that moment. AJ became just another winning douchebag.

He is a bit of a douche. My senior year at Alabama (2011), my intramural football team went up against a team made up of friends of his. He was there giving them moral support I guess and he was talking smack against our team all game long, even though our team ended up winning. He's our douche though.

A quarterback should never show up one of his lineman.... Especially on that stage. Barrett put him in his place and I am now a fan of Jones.

I call it competitive. And when faced with someone mentioning your GF publicly, who doesn't defend her and yourself for that matter?

I was actually proud of both of them after the initial shock wore off. When Jones pushed McCarron my mouth dropped to the floor.

Conspiracy theory alert:

AJ lurks message boards and following the AU hire of Dameyune Craig, he saw the gifs of Craig slapping his centers arse after a similar penalty and people laughing at it and praising Craig. So, in a similar situation he reacts the same.

Ok, a little far fetched and AU centric, but that was one of my first thoughts last night is to how similar it was to DC's play.

I'm torn. He is really good at being there for kids who are ill. He has taken on this young boy in my hometown, and Sunday night AJ had a come apart hearing that he had slipped into a coma (granted doctors gave the boy until Chriatmas), but AJ has secured tickets for that boy and his family the last few games but he was too sick for Miami.

Then again he is a whiner, and cries a lot.

But we like LSU people and they hardly do anything near the good stuff AJ does

my outside perspective is AJ is a good guy. i don't understand his tattoo, but i've read stories about some of his off the field work, which makes me like him. whereas, the off the field stories that i hear about Manziel make him sound like a douche. hopefully, he'll grow out of it.

He's an arrogant, dooshy dick, but he wins. I only care if he's a good QB. Better than having a guy with a great personality who can't QB worth a frick.

Ive met AJ personally and he's geniune good guy. Very humble and kind hearted. However he is a very emotional and competitive player on the field. I can see how this may translate negatively to some people.

Ive met McElroy personally as well--McElroy more of a douche than McCarron. McCarron is really just a "good 'ol boy" from Mobile.

He's a QB playing in Modern Day Football. That's just what happens with the oppressive rules protecting QB's (and the passing game in general). Wants the flag for anything close to roughing, pass interference, and generally anything. Just the way the game has changed Quarterbacks.

He is the definition of douchey. But, he is very well spoken, and is pretty good at footballl, so it is what it is. Many of my favorite musicians are assholes, same probably applies for sports.

I think he's a good kid. He's bought into the Saban Thinking 110%. He expects perfection from himself and others. Jones should have knocked the piss out of him for punkin him like that.
