It'll take losing for a couple seasons to make the big boosters want to pay up. They have won 5 national championships in the last 15 years or whatever it is. Those guys are fat and happy.
The fans bitching on message boards and to Finebaum aren't the ones who will contribute to the NIL fund.

Hold on! Are you bragging about that? What have Auburn football program have done all those years?

I thought just being Alabama meant they would be elite every year, they made Saban and Bear not the other way around brother

Well it was money well spent. The key is the quarterback.

Well half their fanbase has no connection to the University of Alabama
And their recent alumni base are largely out of state Yankees who only went there because they were good at football.
Good luck cashing in with ticket sales and donations from them.

Except we still continue to have the top classes. So NIL is not the issue for UA to compete because we are getting the players. The problem is the lack of development.

Are you saying coaching them up due to bad hires?

I guess Vandy is rolling out wagons of cash.

Have you seen Bamas blue chip ratio?
It’s way up there I think it has to do more with discipline.
Those young men weren’t putting any effort in.
aTm figured out you can’t buy a team.
If these kids are only seeking paycheck they better earn it

Perhaps good ol AJ and his band of stars from Bama’s glory days can throw their money in the pot lol. Somehow I doubt they will

Florida State’s best defender is an ex-Bama.
Ohio State’s best defender is an ex-Bama.
Ohio State’s starting QB is an ex-Bama.
LSU’s best receiver is an ex-Bama.
Michigan’s starting RB is an ex-Bama.
Im sure there are more.
They need to spend a little on retention. But then they probably wouldn’t always sign the top HS class.

Um, not really but, I guess, maybe? It was a legit question. The state of Alabama's only billionaire is on the Auburn Board of Trustees. Who is Alabama's uber rich donor(s). I think the state of Texas has 80-something billionaires. Alabama has 1. I wonder how many are in the other SEC States?

If Saban never left, they would still be on bamas team
Posted on 9/2/25 at 7:44 pm to lsu711
All those ppl didn’t leave bc of nil. Aaron Anderson left bc of playing time. Most of the others left when Saban left.

It’s all fun and games until Texas, Ohio State and Michigan begin outbidding you and taking some of your best players. I sure was wishing Alabama still had Caleb Downs, Jaheim Oatis, Julian Sayin, Damon Payne, Elijah Pritchett and Justice Haynes on Saturday.

You lost to a team that went 2-10 last year. Your NIL ain’t the problem, hombre. Your staff is charmin soft and not equipped for the SEC.
Yet LSU got blown out by the same Alabama team last year. I would be surprised if LSU win at Alabama this year.

Kelly said LSU’s roster this year was 18 million
Posted on 9/2/25 at 8:23 pm to DalenSA
Dude what we saw on the field had to do with coaching and discipline. Not some asshat 20 year olds not getting enough millions.

Bitches ain’t got that pressure treated pine money. Bitches ain’t got that iron core money. Bitches ain’t got that sweet gay arse Apple money. They are fakes. They got one weak arse little community bank and played out coal mines money. The rest are a bunch of long toothed Frederick Von Hinkey the 4ths praying the stock market don’t dip.
