There’s that melt…

You are literally describing your “look at me”existence on this site. Winning your Super Bowl by beating Bama in football.

But mostly seeking the attention of the Aggies with your constant daily threads about A&M. It’s obsessive.

Then A&M and Texas play each other and you act like you don’t care. The irony.

Perfect example of the sips.

Y'all look like a real contender this year.

Again, I say beating the brakes off UTa should not be the measuring stick used to determine what a "contender" is. This isn't the special olympics.

Even though I said I believed the Texas players needed to take responsibility…it is the job of coaches to instill the culture. There is a definite difference in Scloss’s Aggies attitude wise this year, as your son has pointed out. But, there sure are a bunch of damn good SEC teams this year, it’s going to be a gauntlet for any SEC team. Texas, however, only plays two other Big 12 teams that are ranked. They could very easily pop a winning streak in the weak league, be highly ranked again. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Gonna be some heartbreakers for sure for a lot of teams. It’s early yet.

good baseball coach, dreadful college baseball program builder.

he has a knack for turning chicken shite into chicken salad, but it's still a salad made of shite.

How come Aggies call you guys 'sips'??

Please leave "sips" and "tu" you to the Aggies. It is their specific tradition and it just sounds stupid when a fan of any other team makes those references. SEC teams need to avoid this cultural appropriation.

Other SEC fans need to go with "whorns", "bevoids", "nutless bovine". You can go with "Uterus","Texass", and thanks to the Texas media guide team..."The University of Texsa" is also in play these days.

And while I'm on this topic. SEC teams should avoid Oklahoma State's pet names for Oklahoma. Do not go with "gooners". Go with "dirt burglars", "landthieves", "cheaters", or even "wagoncrashers".

And don't use "Zero U" like the dumbasses at "Zero State" do. Go with Mobilehoma, Oklahomo, Chokelahoma.

Maybe SEC fans can come up with some new names for Texas and OU.

But please respect Aggie tradition.

I don't think there is any doubt in anyone's mind on this board that you are definitely the dumbest donghorn fan on the board. Maybe the dumbest poster period.

Lots of good Texas posters have come on board since the announcement. Guys that can give and take the slapping around and the more “real” conversation.

You are not one of them.

Curious about your honest assessment. Is it coaching or talent or a combination of both? About the only thing my son commented on watching the game is that A&M looked more physical than Texas. He plays hs baseball now and is very observant that way. It was the first thing he said when he saw the two teams.

Schloss has recruited lights out since getting to A&M, so there will only be a handful or two of teams that have our depth and nearly all of them will be in the SEC.
Pierce is using the old model of recruiting and developing HS kids. Granted, recruiting at Texas is much easier than Tulane and Sam Houston.

No way those skinny 18 year olds will compete with older, physical transfer players that have been cherry picked from the 300+ teams playing college baseball.

Pierce does not seem like a guy that has a command of the baseball landscape that has completely changed in the last few years. Loosing your starting team from one year and adding a transfer or two the next year is a good recipe for getting your arse kicked.

Texas baseball has always been about pitching and defense. Neither peace is elite, and neither has any hope of carrying the other.

A&M looked good Tuesday night. Texas didn't.

Texas starts conference play this weekend so they didn't use many frontline pitchers Tuesday. The guys that played may have some longer term promise, but baseball is more of a right now kinda game.

Texas NIL for Football is an A+. For Baseball, who knows? I would guess somewhere close to a C+.

Average coaching + average players + average NIL is going to be ... average.
