I don’t think the scenario you outlined led to last night’s outcome.
Most Ags don’t have a clue about the concession cups that were used for one game and/or a painting in the football offices.
The players certainly don’t.
So my answer: I loved that we won last year, and I hate that we were utterly destroyed this year.
But I don’t see a connection between the two.

Do you honestly think your players cared a lick about some cups?
I won’t tell you it’s impossible, since I don’t have a clue; but my gut tells me the LSU kids couldn’t have cared less (if they even knew about ‘em).
Outside of tSECr, I never heard a word about them.
And my social circle is filled with Ags and Tigers.
LSU’s motivation right now runs a bit deeper (I.e.. a natty) than payback for a plastic cup.
Just my opinion.

LSU wanted payback make no mistake about it. Had all the freakish plays don’t happen and LSU wins in 2018 this year it’s a 35-20 type game

I understand your point that it wasn’t the average fan or even player that printed the cups.
Obviously Aggies enjoyed that one as they should. In some way LSU should actually feel complemented they did all that.
