Aggies vs. SEC

It's been a rough year for the Aggies, stolen from the STL PD;
Against the SEC Texas A&M has …
* Given up 37.7 points per game, which is tied with Kentucky for 12th among the 14 SEC teams. Only Arkansas is more generous on defense.
* Given up 21 TD passes, most allowed by an SEC defense.
* Given up 34 touchdowns from scrimmage, most by an SEC defense.
* Given up an average of 504 yards per game, most in the SEC.
* Given up an average of 8.3 yards per touch from scrimmage, most by an SEC defense.
* Given up 238 net yards rushing per game; only Tennessee has been plundered for more yards rushing,
* Given up a net average of 5.5 yards per rushing attempt, which also ranks 13th.
In addition, the Aggies rank 9th in third-down defense, 9th in takeaways, 11th in opponents' passer rating, 11th in sacks, 11th in net passing yards per game, 11th in yards per pass attempt.

only one foe, Vandy, to under 30 points

Missouri is kind of a cute program, but I keep forgetting we're playing them this week. Even with their best season ever, they're still irrelevant.

FWIW, I get it, I am a Mizzou fan.
Home of the 5th down and all that.
Mizzou should be very confident going into this game and the crowd is going to be large and loud.

You sound like a Longhorn. We're number five in the country and playing for an SEC Championship birth. How many SEC championships in football has A&M gone too?

2 seasons so far in the conference....oh and you're playing in the division that a 2 loss team could go to the championship game. How does it feel that even if Mizzou makes the SECCG but loses they have zero shot at a BCS bowl?

I'm willing to bet that Aggie fans REALLY don't want the other newcomer to the SEC to make it to the SEC championship before they do.
They get their chance to prevent it this weekend too.
I'm not a fan of either, but I'm interested in this game.

Your stadium fits what, 70k? You have some of the worst facilities in the SEC, and your fans care more about professional baseball.
Your program is a footnote. And the only reason you're in this conference is because we're so damn cute.
