That is nuts. Kudos to the Aggie faithful, they are rightfully excited about this season's team. Might be the year.

If the Longhorns pull off a miracle and beat Georgia, and A&M remains undefeated before they meet, those ticket prices are going to skyrocket. Not likely the Longhorns win the next two games, but if the OL can hold up, it's possible.

Another myth, basically a lie, from the narcissistic Tu fanbase, most of whom couldn’t get into either school. Compare the entire 9000 or so entire Tu freshman class to the top 9000 of the 13,000 Texas A&M freshman class, you will find A&M’s are better academically. A&M has about 4x as many National Merit Scholars on campus as Tu. Texas A&M just raised $4,000,000,000 from private donors a few years back for scholarships, classrooms, research for top students. Tu limits its enrollment, because instead of using billions of their share of their Permanent University Fund for its purpose to educate the kids of the state they prefer hoard it on their tiny 40 acre campus. Refusing to fulfill their duty as a public university. A&M has used their share of the PUF to expand educational opportunities for kids on its 5200 acre campus. But in reality, I wish Tu would limit their enrollment even further compared to A&M. There will be fewer liberal/communists produced in the state.

This was true before the widespread kneeling during the National Anthem. Most everyone I know only watch CFB now.

Yeah Dallas is like an hour from the Oklahoma border so lots of Okies are Cowboy fans. But Bob Stoops coaches the best pro football team in Dallas!

Lol OU has twice as many National Merit Scholars as A&M and Alabama blows both out of the water anyway. I guess OU and Alabama are better schools than A&M.

It turns out schools that give away money to merit scholars will have more of them enrolled. Wow!

It will go up even more if the whorns can beat UGA.

If that happens, this game will have national ramifications. Just curious when this game had national ramifications for both teams? Last year was Texas trying to get into the playoffs and the ags trying to spoil. This could end up an eliminator game for texas.

Friendly reminder to tRant:

People are not triggered by absolute falsehoods.

They are only triggered when there is a fair amount of truth involved.

Thanks for reading.

Y'all never reconcile this garbage with the fact that you are our bitch in football. Leftists don't give two shites (much less money) about football.

Reconcile.

Even though we were Longhorn fans and my parents attended Texas, I was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys long long ago, back when Tom Landry was coaching, and Roger Staubach was playing, when I watched Cowboys games with my dad. Landry and Staubach had class...

One of my college roommates I've known for years grew up in Irving where the original Cowboys stadium was located, and was a huge Cowboys fan.

But neither my old roommate nor I like Jerry Jones, and think he's a huge arsehole (we are not alone with this opinion.) I'm still pissed at the sorry way he fired Tom Landry. I'm not going to be a Cowboys fan as long as that d*ck is running things, and I have even refused to watch that Netflix documentary on the Cowboys, because I don't want to watch that fatarse Jerry Jones spout his hot air bullshite when I don't have to.

Plus, remember that Texas is a huge state, and Texans who want to watch pro football can now root for the Houston Texans if they wish.

So many graduates of Texas universities remain in Texas, and many families have attended their favorite schools for generations. I think there are way more passionate college sports fans in Texas than passionate Cowboys fans these days...

Well, Jerry has been disappointing Cowboys fans for several years now, ha...

I'm not confident enough in the Longhorn's consistency yet this season, and y'alls coach Kirby Smart has had our number, but I think we'll be motivated when we visit Georgia and rested after our bye week... that game is going to be huge!

Some of it is we haven't played in Austin in a generation.

Plenty of Aggies like me live near Austin. Williamson County has the largest A&M club in the state.
