Do we really believe Schloss took a dive in the CWS to benefit Texas? I’m either way off but this reality seems implied in several posts. I have no doubt he’s a loathsome human being, but I find it very hard to imagine achieving something so difficult as to reach the last few games of the CWS and taking a dive because you’re soon to be coaching a rival. Facts are, Schloss or any coach would be much better served winning that game than losing it. From an “invisible hand” perspective, can’t imagine taking a dive would be rational behavior, no matter the circumstances.

I don’t think this.

But his head and heart sure weren’t 100% in the game.

I don’t think so. I do think he really didn’t care, because his arrogance makes him believe he can rebuild it at Texas.

That shouldn’t translate to treating other fans poorly.
They are people.

This stuff is great... It adds to the legend of the rivalry...

Nobody got hurt... Just some name calling and a shove in the bathroom?

I watched some of the Friday game... baseball is usually pretty docile... but that crowd was on it the entire time.

When any crowd is that intense... some stuff is going to happen...

As an OU fan... it is nice to see Texans get after each other with this stuff instead of getting after us.

But if a visitor is acting like a jackass, which Utrans fans are well known for, they deserve like treatment

(Kids excluded, cussing and shite behavior to someone’s or near someone’s kids should always get you an arse kicking)

I don’t subscribe to taking a dive.

Just working on a side gig instead of working for his employer.

And then trying to burn it down on the way out.

True, nobody got hurt. And I agree that the Aggies are well within their rights to be a hostile crowd given the circumstances. Just don’t want kids or families to feel mistreated.

Sounds like it was very minor.

I'm not feeling your vibe. Fan cheer, they boo and they harass.

I guess you didn't grow up in Texas or hand around TU fans. I did.

You must be sheltered. I say bring the hate and throw in some hot sauce on top.

I'm too "Redass" to be lectured by you.

Go to Austin and do that shite you tough guys

After the November game in Austin tu "students" were doing their best to start fights with old men in Aggie gear. And at the piss troughs they were pissing on people's legs and claiming it was an accident.

Now tu fans have their feelings hurt because of a little cussing? Leaving son's game early because someone nudged you in the pisser?

What a bunch of bleeding vags!

Couple of thoughts here.

If you truly believe that a coach trying to win his first ever National Title doesn’t give it his all you aren’t very intelligent.

If you have to spin a huge story to verify this in your mind, well then nobody can talk you out of it.

I find this whole thought process ridiculous. And save me your so called hearsay facts.

If all that makes you angry enough to go to the game and yell at Schloss so be it.

But if you are angrily attacking opposing fans and threatening violence upon them because you’re not mature enough to control your anger. That is when it is over the line.

And if your excuse to defend them because Schloss is a piece of shite, well then your that same piece of shite,

I don’t believe little kids should go to sporting events anymore. The “kids” here are in college. It isn’t like they were assaulted because somebody else threw a beer.

I believe it’s been proven that he was communicating his intentions to several players and several of the coaches prior to the last game

I don’t believe he would’ve in 1 million years purposely tanked the game, but let’s not imagine that those things could not have an impact

We know the players were aware because Jace confronted him about it before game three

I will maintain that Schloss did everything he could to win his first national title, and I believe that to think any differently is just a loser mentality.

To be fair, doing everything possible, would mean telling the school in Austin that he’d be happy to have those conversations after the season was over

You don’t know that 100% for a fact….

And I know some aggy players off of that team that say otherwise.

But don’t let “your facts” get in the way of your narrative,
