Maybe it's a southern thing, but where I grew up "Boy" was not a racist term. Hell, we even had lily white teachers call us "Boy" from time to time. I don't know how fricked up the South must be to have normal words like "Boy" be deemed racist. Anything else you Southerners use against blacks that is normal for non-southeners? I can maybe see it as a term to demean someone, but not necessarily blacks.

But its not racist. (Or at least not where I grew up) It may be demeaning and a way to belittle someone, but its not racist. You can call a white guy "boah" just like you would call an African American a "boah". It can be used on any person of any race in order to disrespect their intelligence and/or maturity. White, black, Asian or Hispanic...it doesn't matter. I don't know what kind of fricked up shite you Southerners use to disrespect African Americans, but "boah" is universal. Just like stupid, idiot, and pendejo.
