Remember when Saban and bama cried about having to play Noon games because it was too hot outside?

Sounds like ASU is suspect as well

You do realize one of those teams that got blown out in the first round was an SEC team that beat Bama, right?
What makes you think bama fares any better?
There have never been 12 championship worthy teams in college football.

There just shouldn’t be 12 teams in the playoffs.
I'm coming around to this idea. 12 teams in the playoffs means Notre Dame, State Penn and Bama get in the playoff every year....oh, wait.

Dude, this topic is a proven loser. I am now sticking to "we didn't deserve to get in".

Penn State is basically OU, but a little better. OU beat the hell out of Bama. What makes these obnoxious Bama fans think that Alabama would have given Penn State a good game?? Penn State beats the shite out of Bama just like OU did.
Just like the Georgia fan said: 12 teams is just way too many teams. I was happy with 4. I could live with 8, but 12? It’s just stupid. Who cares?????

None of those teams would have won either. The teams that did play had better records. The committee didn’t expect them to win but they had to put someone in there.

I disagree. We tend to play our best in the playoffs.

I think this is a worthwhile gripe.

What I think is that it should be announced that strength of schedule matters and that everyone now has 6 months to rework their schedules accordingly.
Indiana, SMU and even Clemson would have been out. Cancel the whole winner of conference gets in nonsense.

True but those 3 teams should have gotten a chance to be embarrassed on the big stage as well.

Including these 3 teams would have 100% made the games much better.
I’m curious to know your thoughts on this
South Carolina has no business sniffing a playoff...lost to both the teams ahead of them in the SEC
Ole Miss was once again overrated garbage with a whiny coach, played a creampuff OOC
put in Alabama and Miami

there is no way they are going to do that, and that actually undermines the regular season more than anything
Imagine a scenario where Georgia this year lost to Clemson first game, and lost the 8OT to Georgia Tech, but everything else is the same.
Georgia would be SEC Champs, but left out of the playoff with 4 losses....does that make sense??

Not really.
I'm fine with the selections that were made. Bama lost to Vandy, OU and Tennessee on the road. Two of those were 6-6 teams.
They would have been crushed on the road by any of these teams as well. Giving a better team home field advantage in college football is going to lead to a blowout most of the time. That's how the game works.

USC, Ole Miss, and yes even Alabama shouldn’t have lost 3 games to shite teams. Quit fricking whining you miserable pussy.

No they shouldn’t have, not everyone deserves a participation trophy for losing to Kentucky Oklahoma and Vanderbilt
Going to disagree. Bama, Ole Miss and USC do deserve a participation trophy this time.

USCe.... sure because it's Christmas and you should give to those in need.
