After watching the last 4 playoff games we can all agree. Only need 8 teams maximum

Expand it. Div 2 has 28 teams and there's is fine. Not sure Div 1 is reinventing the wheel.

Why?

What's wrong with the setup now?

Why do y'all despise more playoffs so much?

So?

It's better than having those teams play in exhibition matches instead

Obviously we need 24-32 teams. It's the only way to be sure that we have a true champion.

We have blowouts with only four teams. Go back to that

It’s going to 14 or 16 sooner than later.

None of the powers that be are paying any attention to the people griping about this.

Because it’s about money, not good football.

These could be too.

They weren't so far, but they could be.

And there's actually something on the line.

I like 16, no byes. Straight, correct seeding. The top 3 or 4 teams would basically get byes with the "conference champ" they would get to play at home.

I think what this playoff will show is there are actually only two power conferences, the SEC and the Big 10.

What should happen is to have an 8 team playoff pitting the top four teams from each of those leagues against each other. And have another 8 team playoff between all the other conferences.

12 or 16. Make the regular season one game shorter, add a first round home game for the higher seeds.
