After seeing an interview with Trent Richardson, I hope LSU wins

Just changed who I'm rooting for after seeing TR on ESPN. He was talking about the Bama offense in the first game:
"Once we get down to the red zone we gonna be ok. They did some stuff that we you know, couldn't score on.. well we coulda scored on it, but we did some stuff where we stopped ourselves from scoring."
They also interviewed McCarron and he said pretty much the same thing. The offense underperformed because of things Bama did, it wasn't anything LSU did.
What the frick, is there a single player on Bama's team that will just admit that LSU's defense is pretty good?

He should just say that Bama sucks and that there is no way Bama could hope to beat a far superior LSU team.

Well, Bama didn't lose the game in regulation, so therefore LSU didn't win in regulation, so therefore LSU lost in regulation.

Think it's more about giving credit where it's due, but whatever. There will be plenty of time for bama players to give praise to our defense while they are licking their wounds during the off season. Personally IDC if they never do. It won't change the score board.

How about, "They played really well and we made some mistakes, but they deserve all the credit. We've been working on correcting those mistakes and getting better, and hopefully we can put up some more points on the board. I have every confidance that this team can go out there and beat LSU the second time around."

Every offense is the reason they do not score, if a play is executed to perfection, it can't be stopped no matter who it is.
