This is less than half the story. The full line would feature a fan base that is increasing optimistic as the summer wears on. By August that fan base will reach apogee of ecstasy, about the "nasty defense," "Aranda will confuse'um," and "the spread offense.." "Brannon for Heisman," "Joe Blow is a worthy RB successor," "OL will be one of the best in the country." Predictions for the season by late August will range from a low of 9-3 (those who post this will be shunned), to a most likely of 10-2, 11-1.
