But we are talking about Kelly that can't win the big games when it matters the most.

We’ll see. This is a make or break year for him. We have as much talent as any team in the country. No excuses if we miss the playoff.

LSU has the richest supporter in the SEC, Graves. Yes he went to UGA, but his house is connected to LSU campus, he's from BR, his kids go to school in BR (and I think LSU), he opened up his 1st Canes 200 ft from campus, he's always in pics with Livvy Dunne, Jayden, Nuss, Paul Skenes, etc. He's always on sidelines for the games. The general feel I get from Todd Graves is that he is a bigger LSU supporter than he is Georgia.

I did some research, there isn't a single UT or TAMU alumni richer than Graves at $17.2 bil. Hildebrand isn't. Some guy named Robert Rowling isn't, he's a UT alum worth $10 bil. TAMU richest alum doesn't have more than $3 bil. There's only 1 guy who is richer than Graves who attended either UT or TAMU, and that's Bob Dell, but he only spent 1 semester or year at Texas, then dropped out. And I don't think he gives a shite about Texas football.

If Graves wants him gone, he can be gone. I don't think that will be the case after this year though.

I don't think Louisiana is the poorest state in the US either. NIL cost $18 mil this year. We'll see how that turns out.

I haven't reviewed them formally in years

Typical bama fan... can't follow who replied to who... can't beat vandy even though they hired a HC that they claim has done it all. Hell... only scored like 3pts against OU. Only thing bama fans want to keep up with is wins vs LSU. Every bama fan is fine with that LSU win and HAPPY with those losses to vandy and ou.

This was pre-NIL when you guys were paying players from a hospital foundation.

Wrong

I’m sure you think Texas wasn’t paying players

I don't think the game works that way anymore, to be totally honest.

NIL has changed things up. Look at Florida:
The boosters were mad at Billy Napier. they gathered the money to pay his buyout.
The Fla AD looks at the situation- boosters who care about the program raised a lot of money. So rather than fire the coach (a buyout and another rebuild), he gives Napier a vote of confidence, and that money was used for NIL payments instead.

Same logic will apply to Kelly (and other coaches). If he is competent in program management (recruiting, running the business side etc), you don't waste time and money starting over. You pour the money into acquiring talent and try to gear up.
Kelly is running the program competently. Our recruiting is good, things are stable. You leave that side alone, and focus on bringing in as much good talent as possible.

Ole Grinder won’t have to go anywhere. With the buyout LSU will be giving him he will need a Brinks truck to haul away his money
