He’s running from Oklahoma and Texas joining and the difficulty of winning a 12-team playoff. Add in NIL has brought teams more up to par and he bolts.
Can’t say I blame him fully. He cheated long enough and sees the writing on the wall. Still a coward though.

Dude is 72 and now these coaches have to deal with NIL and re-recruiting guys already on the team because transfers are out of control. I’d retire too. A person only has so much energy.
