Great question. Their own senior night was awful because they conducted the ceremony after the game (a loss) and much of the crowd left the arena before the ceremony began. At least we got the ceremony part right...

This is also because Alabama fans spent the last few weeks shitting themselves over Auburn losing 3 games. They had convinced themselves it was over, then we went to the Final Four on top of winning the regular season.

We tried to tell them. They insisted auburn did not coast after they won the SEC regular season and demanded that their meaningless Super Bowl win over Auburn be treated as if it mattered.
Now they know what we all knew. . . the team backed off the gas when they secured the SEC and #1 overall seed. We’re in The Final Four. They got blown out and embarrassed by 20 points.

After spending a couple weeks insisting that the beating Auburn gave them on their home floor didn't matter at all. When, in fact, it was one of the most meaningful games of the entire regular season for both teams.
