So I'm guessing CBM getting tossed in the first 30 seconds of the game doesn't bear any responsibility. Y'all have a great freshman guard this year but it's a lot to ask from a freshman to carry a team in the tournament.

On the one hand Auburn had about the same path to the Elite 8 difficulty wise as Alabama did. On the other hand, yes, they had a much easier Elite 8 opponent but at the same time that comes with the territory when you're the overall #1 seed. Long story short, Auburn earned their easier Elite 8 opponent by having arguably the greatest regular season tournament resume a team has ever had.

That's highly debatable if not doubtful. St Marys beat Gonzaga twice and was ranked 4th nationally in scoring defense and prior to playing us had held its last 105 opponents under 80 points. Creighton didn't even average 80 pts this season. Plus Alabama handled Creighton fairly easily earlier this season. Robert Morris would beat Alabama State 9 out of 10 games. BYU vs Michigan would be a complete toss up and Duke would prison rape Michigan State.

No, but they had some very good wins and other than Michigan State were the one team y'all played even more so than Michigan that I thought might cause y'all problems if y'all had an off game.
Not saying y'all had an easy path by any means. Just saying it wasn't any more difficult a path to the Elite 8 than Alabama's. St. Marys and Duke statistically speaking were far and away the best defensive teams we played this year.
BYU was a Top 25 team offensively and ranked almost dead even with Michigan defensively. They weren't a terrble team defensively. They just had an absolutely horrible gameplan defensively against us
