I'm glad Nate Oats doesn't listen to the pitchfork mob. He understands people can make mistakes and they don't deserve to be punished for life for it. Especially when it's your first time ever screwing up. He already missed the NCAA tourney, was banned from campus, and now will miss the exhibition games and the first two regular season games. That's plenty enough for such a non-violent mistake.

I think this situation would have played out the same at literally any University. The odd ones are the people pretending otherwise.

wouldn't get 10 years for possession of 2 lbs of weed, you fricking dipshit.

Keyboard warrior calling names when they have no argument; I highly doubt you would say that in person. It’s not that serious; it’s just a game that’s played by people who could not care less about you. If this were Johnni Broome, you’d want him locked away for life. TBF, your entire self-worth is tied to Alabama sports, so I understand the hostility behind a keyboard.

Says the guy who posted this:

We all know that Bama fans would allow Holloway to rape their wife and kids if it meant a Natty in basketball and/or a win over Florida.

But yeah, I am the one that takes this too serious, and I am the one displaying hostility behind a keyboard.

Dude had a kilo of weed. Possession with intent to distribute.

But hey, at least he didn't kill anyone.

It shouldn't be a crime to start with.

And at any rate, we have a justice system for a reason.
