Like I said, maybe the team just has a designated weed buyer for the week to minimize potential legal issues. It was just his turn ...

Play some Steve Miller Band during the warmup.

Nate Oats is not sitting him IF he is not incarcerated or dead.

That's pretty ditzy. Unless you were already on parole or serious probabtion, nobody goes to prison for getting busted with a pound of weed. The Bama player probably won't even get any county jail time You might be buying into liberal criminal justice narratives.

He might miss the first 30 seconds as punishment.

Or it could be lyrics from a song that was released in the 90s.

There were rumblings about him having a bit of a weed problem at Auburn which some attributed to some of his issues on and off the court. Apparently he was a pretty sheltered kid coming out of high school and he struggled with the college experience early on. He would be late to practices and just play terribly at times.

Some speculate that he left AU for a fresh start as the coaching staff was getting frustrated with him. Sucks he couldn’t get over those issues because he’s a super talented kid.

Why is anyone getting arrested for possession of weed?

Mainly because it's illegal but also because it's not legal.

Says how fricking stupid he is if he’s getting paid huge $ and still can’t remove himself from the hood life

Yep. Not only was it dumb, but crazy selfish. He has to be making good money - why the frack would you need to sell weed as well?

And it worked out for him initially. I just don't understand risking so much for so little.

Cut him some slack. He was obviously sold a dream and by dream I mean an elbow of the funky stuff

Honestly though I don't care. It's weed. It Should be legal. If he had a keg in his apt for personal use no one would bat an eye

Of course. That isn't for personal use.

You’d be shocked how high the limits are on what you can get from a dispensary monthly with a medical card.

I know plenty of people who don’t sell who have gotten that much at once. Actually pretty smart to avoid frequent transport & just stock up instead… not like it really goes bad.

Then there are people who technically do sell… but at breakeven prices, to like 2-5 friends / family members who just don’t want to hassle with the card. Don’t really think of those types as “drug dealers”.

frick Bama, but these kinds of arrests are seen as increasingly stupid by a growing majority.
