I honestly don’t follow basketball so all I know is he is Alabamas second leading scorer because the radio just said that. I don’t know how good he is nor would I be able to recognize it from a basketball perspective but with NIl I assume he is making 200k plus as a basketball player so why in the hell would you waste that for something you know is illegal.

I wouldn't expect him to miss anytime under Nate Oats

If he still played at Auburn this wouldn't even be an issue, because he'd be at home for the next few weeks anyway.

That isn't for personal use

This has always seemed like a bogus argument to me. If it is legal to use, why does it matter how much you possess? So what if you are selling it? If it is legal to use, it must be legal to sell. Unless you are growing your own, you have to buy it somewhere and from someone.

Are we arresting this guy for not having a grocer's license?

One of our leading scorers (averaged about 16 ppg over the last 10). Defensive liability, but he's been on an offensive tear and we need his production.

Others can fill in, but we're already too banged up to lose a ton of minutes.

He should be done. He was questioned last week and he still had a pound in his apartment?

You have to be prescribed the legal stuff same as you do pain medicine. It is the same principle. Even with the medical card, I don't think you can just go in and buy as much as you want. I only get enough to last a month each time I go to the dispensary.

I think we probably make it in with Aden tbh... he's not an all star but our PG play was so bad as long as he was sober we probably win 2-3 more.

Maybe he was the designated weed buyer for the entire Alabama team this week?

What an idiot. Sadly, this is the kind of risk we all take when we try to straighten out players who started out on the wrong path in Auburn.

That leads to a discussion beyond this board and the appropriate regulation of controlled substances...and those that should be controlled.

So I'll check out here.

My only position is that arresting someone for the crime of distribution or presumed intent to distribute has always seemed like a bullshite charge if the product is legal to use.

In fairness, aden had no issues and no tattoos until he joined the bama crew

That said, it's legal in something like 30 states.

Why is anyone getting arrested for possession of weed?

Because there are more than 30 states.
