Why should you be rewarded?
Besides, it wouldn't be penalized. Your number of home games against one another over a 4 year period would be identical. You got them at home last year and this year. They'd get you at home in 2017 & 2018. It would be back to you in 2019 and back to them in 2020. Not that hard.
And give up a guaranteed sell out home game in 2017? Not a chance.
If the game is in Tiger Stadium it won't be a sell out and the revenue generated won't come close to what a true planned year in advance home game pulls in.

LSU would lose money that's a penalty and they would have 3 days to sellout the stadium.

Absolutely ridiculous that Florida is being this stubborn. The whole university should be ashamed of this non sense if this is really true. Move the damn game for the safety of everyone it's not that damn hard. It isn't the first time it has happened and won't be the last.
Not sure what there is to be ashamed about, they aren't rushing to judgment and will make a sensible decision. This isn't their first time dealing with a hurricane.

where is UF proposing the game to be played? I haven't heard a reasonable alternative...

This isn't about reward/punishment. But I think you know that and are just stirring the pot here.

When's the last time this administration had to deal with moving a game due to a hurricane?

the only true realistic neutral site would be mobile if it isnt played in baton rouge

You realize everything that goes into putting on a football game? It isn't magic. Any longer delay and the game is likely cancelled. The NCAA is not going to make LSU fly into Florida.

Watch the SEC officials just switch the game times of UF-LSU and USC-UGA.... makes some sense if they do...

There are other modes of transportation besides airplanes.

LSU couldn't sell out a home SEC game in 3 days?

We have no idea how stubborn Florida is being about the situation.
Furthermore, if there are realistic alternatives to playing the game in Gainsville and UF takes a hard line and refuses to accept a relocation, then it should be counted as a forfeit and the W goes to LSU in the SEC standings. This game will not simply be cancelled because the state of Florida in a state of emergency. There are alternatives available.

LSU fans melting and down voting the shite out if you

We didn't vs USC last season. People claim they make plans to do things when LSU has a scheduled away game

Like I said previously, my gut tells me they move it to Monday ala what LSU did with Tennessee that one year...
All I am saying is it would not surprise me to see the SEC just switch the times and hope for the best.
