Why are gamecock fans so mad though?
There are like five of us, and twenty of y'all. Pretty sure you guys are the mad ones.
I'm done with this thread though. Like I said, it's all the same shite. I'll take winning the head to head. Not much to brag about in the grand scheme of things, but it sure is hard to talk shite to a team that has beaten you the last three years.
Or it should be, but most UGA fans are ignorant.

So what do you look for in a school?
USC is the backup school for people who can't get in to UGA and can afford out of state.

I've been to every South Carolina home game since I was 5 years old. Some of us aren't bandwagon fans and actually grew up around a team and have a tradition of going to the games.

Dawg in Beaumont posted: But would you at least concede that South Carolina fans have taken schedule complaints to a whole new unheard of level? That is the part that UGA fans find pretty hilarious. The world is not out to get you, we had an easier rotation the last two years, it just happened to coincide with some of your best teams in history. That wasn't any conspiracy.
You're right, "the world is not out to get us," and no Gamecock fan that I have ever seen post has ever said anything remotely close to that.
What we have questioned is this - and pay close attention so that, perhaps, it will sink-in and make sense to you.
Yes, we've felt like we've had a tougher schedule for awhile now, and the results probably support that claim - but hey, wth, who cares. Right? We should have beaten Auburn and it would have been a non-issue. As far as I am concerned we have no one to blame but Stephen Garcia for that .... the punk. Thank gosh that was his last frickin' game in a Gamecock uniform.
BUT, and this is a big BUT ... but something went way the frick wrong with the 2012 scheduling. Miss State owed us a return trip to our place after we went down there in 2011 and lost Lattimore for the season to a knee injury. Instead, the SEC completely rearranges our schedule and has us hosting your Dawgs in The Cock Pit, then going on the road to Death Valley and LSU at night, then going on the road to The Swamp vs the Gators at night, three consecutive weeks in October of last year - no one in the league would have survived that. No way, no how.
So we got a trip to LSU instead of a home game vs MSU ... yeah, that was a little fishy because, at the same time, remind who it was that you Dawgs got? And please, by all means, show us a three game stretch anywhere on your 2012 schedule that compared to the UGA, @LSU, @ UF stretch.
Do you understand now, why we sometimes question exactly how that happened and why? Or are you going to deny that every single Dawg fan on the planet would be asking the same question were the roles reversed? Tell the truth or tell a lie, which one are you going to do?

Awhile? Seriously? Yeah the last 2 years the schedules were fricked up. What about the 20 or so years before where we played Auburn every year while you guys got Arkansas. On average Arkansas wasn't in the same league. Everything else was just a rotation.
In 2008 we played Alabama LSU and Auburn from the west. No UGA fans cried like bitches we actually embraced the games and the big time atmosphere they bring.

Is that all you say? Why not actually contribute something to this site other than "you mad" posts? We all need to kick it up a notch, and you aren't helping.

Because all he is doing is bitching about scheduling. OMG YOU GOT LSU AND NOT MSU, THE SEC HATES YOU WHY ARE THEY OUT TO GET YOU. Like a previous poster above me said go look at our 08 schedule, none of us cried about it like little girls. Again, your schedule doesn't mean you shite you shouldve beat Florida and Auburn.
Posted on 4/25/13 at 11:22 am to td01241
I've never said different. I complained about it, but I always maintained that we should have beaten Auburn.
And that's how scrooster always posts. Towards EVERY fanbase. Don't flatter yourself thinking Georgia is special.

So dramatic, good God...
I completely know that we had an easier schedule the last 2 years, what I am saying is that I knew absolutely zero Dawg fans that cried and cried the years (08 and 09 come to mind) when we had a harder schedule.
Does that make sense?
Historically our permanent opponent (Auburn) is far superior to (Arkansas), it just didn't get brought up because Carolina hasn't been relevant most of their time in the SEC. Now that you are, you are noticing scheduling differences, it doesn't mean that differences in schedules are something new.

Honestly, no one cares about 2008 because that was apart of the regular rotation at that time and we knew in 2001 or whatever year the rotations switched that those games were coming. The only bitching us Gamecocks do is about the 2012 schedule because that was something put together that year and randomly put us up against LSU which wasn't supposed to happen and took y'all out of a game with Bama which was scheduled. Even Stevie Wonder could see that we got the shite draw on that deal.
In the end, we blew it by getting skullfricked by Florida. In the end, because UF beat A&M and LSU, I would have been ok seeing them go because it would have been deserved but y'all always claim your superiority over the east because y'all beat UF at a neutral site and had no other tough games besides getting skullfricked by us. Last year was your year schedule wise and y'all made the SECC and congrats on that. This year the roles are reversed and in the event y'all beat us, lose to LSU and UF, I can't wait to see the reaction if we make the title game.

Ill be the first to say congrats and blame us on not making it for failing to beat either lsu or Florida.

Great. More academic debate on a board that was created for fans that only want to communicate with one another because of they play each other in sports.

I find it hilarious that Georgia fans believe their football program is on the same level as Oklahoma, Ohio State, So Cal, Texas, Florida, LSU, Alabama, etc.
In reality, Georgia football is as prestigious as Clemson, Auburn, and Ole Miss.
Georgia has ONE National Championship in the modern era, in 1980. UGA is the only real football school in one of the Top 5 states for high school football. How is it possible that they only have ONE national title with the insane amount of talent that the state of Georgia pumps out? Just imagine if they had to compete for recruits with another in-state powerhouse like Florida/Miami/Florida State, South Carolina/Clemson, Texas schools, Bama/Auburn, etc.
Anyways, now that Georgia is playing a legitimate schedule their record will reflect the quality of their team: the third best team in the SEC East.
