The silver lining is that it isn’t crashing down in a perfect storm. Jimbo is getting his players. Texas is a dumpster fire right now, and Herman just fired half of his staff. So A&M isn’t threatened as much in regards to recruiting vs Texas. LSU and Bama can only take so many kids from Houston. There is opportunity for A&M to improve.

I can't disagree with anything you said. That last game was bad but they do look like a more physical team under Fisher. My point was than they made it a lot harder on themselves vs a team that more often than not will be one of the best they play every year.

So my perception of places like Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana is they are cesspools of illiterate fat people. Prove me wrong.

I agree. When your program and coach personify mediocrity you can only improve. Or at least, hope to improve. Personally I am thrilled to have Aggie and their rabid fan base , epic fight song, first class facilities etc in our league. It’s better with you guys .

A little advice though- like Ole Miss- it’s time to retire the early 20th century traditions that make you look cultish and creepy and embrace the now. Have more fun, be more hetero, less martial etc. join the party. That Stuff hurts you way more than you admit.

LSU is just badass this year. Sincere congrats. The rivalry stuff makes it more exciting.

But A&M wanted to be in the SEC west because iron sharpens iron. But the increased exposure is the biggest key. Plus the money is nice!

I hear ya. But it’s going to take time to evolve from literally an all male corps of cadets student body until the late 1960s.

But we do like our traditions BECAUSE they are unique.

Sounds like you’re not going to answer the question. We are talking about Louisiana. Have you been there?

I get it . I am a traditionalist . I understand the value of those things to you.

But you have a choice to make. Because 2019 is a long way CULTURALLY from 1947. Hanging on to the past is not good for the overall health of your program. All that stuff looks weird, creepy and insular- like if Scientology had a football team.

It’s not a matter of forgetting the past, just moving on the the next phase. It’s antiquated.

I think if the cameras showed the entire student body more you’d have a different opinion.

Kansas might be more depressing to drive through than Missura. It’s not just the ugly scenery or lack there of. It’s everything, the people, the vibe, all just horrible.

The nastiest most depressing eye sore I’ve ever driven through was Kansas City Kansas. People forget about that little gem of a town because KC Missouri gets all the props. KC Kansas is a bunch of rickety old factories, burning old tires, cooking garbage, and scraping cars. It’s basically a giant burning junkyard with a major interstate going through the middle.

Maybe so, but at least those illiterates are fat on some good food.

And Louisiana has been known to produce a hot woman or two on occasion, maybe dumb as stumps, but hot.

I’ve been to games there. I’ve been to midnight yell practice etc. I understand it. I’m telling you to look at the optics of it and to consider the insularity of it and how it comes across to your friends in the league. It’s not benefiting you, it’s benefiting us.

Come on now . . .there are plenty if literate folks in those states working as bar-backs, pig farmers, payday loan specialists, and grocery store security guards.

There are even a few televangelists and corrupt politicians in the mix.

Leading up to your first SEC championship game in years, all you can think about are the Ags. As I joked earlier this week, it's hard being LSU's Super Bowl. You are making that a reality.

You are embarrasing yourself almost as much as your team did on the field.
