Agreed with the portal movement. Any team can hit a home run or strike out in the portal.

The only thing you can count on the coaching staff to coach up whatever talent they bring in and that may not show until later in the season.

I think we will continue to see simpler systems allowing portal players to pick up the system quicker. The more complex the scheme, the harder it is for new portal players to adjust to.

WTH !! Ok now I get your posting. You dont pay attention to obvious details. I'm a Texas Tech fan- we've hated Aggy football long before you people were hatched but the fact is they are playing fundamental football on a consistent basis in 2025.

Now 2025 is also an example of a talented but terribly inconsistent U Tex team with insane scoring variations. Couldn't score against UK, Woke up late and barely beat M State. Almost had Vandy comeback and beat them despite being +21 early 4th. And this against mostly suspect completion. These are FACTS. Pay attention to them.

Other SEC facts as a neutral observer:

1. Bama too is mostly consistent against 1st rate competition but has problems with the running game both O/D
2. UGA besides, M. State, has not played consistent 4 qtr football. See Ole Miss as an example. But nothing like the erratic crap Texas is doing.
3. OU, Auburn cant play offense to save their lives. Great D's however.
4. Texas Tech, despite very good O and D play, is terrible in Red Zone offense and will prove fatal if not resolved.

I just love this game.

I see the rest of the SEC has awakened and finally realized Aggie is beating that arse.

Starting topics that Texas has already been crying about.

This thread is a bad look for Ole Mizzou.

We lost. The end.

Everyone plays the schedule they’re given.

Whining about schedules doesn’t accomplish anything.

I sure hope he isn’t one of ours. Sheesh.

There are things that drive me crazy about Drinkwitz, but he’s a good coach. No sane person expected a Mizzou win Saturday. That’s no slight against A&M, we’re just too banged up at key positions.

This is why the Rant exists. Again, why is spewing facts construed as whining? I said good on Aggie for winning, for being undefeated in the SEC, but warned them not to go overboard. When you dive into their schedule, you can see that the record is helped by what I would call, some level of good luck in the SEC & a bad schedule outside of ND. No whining here. They are a good team, well-coached. Mizzou is done & I expected that with the mash-unit. No hard feelings towards A&M. I just think the facts of their undefeated season (so far) should be mentioned.

Hey, UAB ended Memphis’ chances at a CFP spot in Birmingham. Don’t sleep on the Blazers!

You are not allowed your own set of facts emanating from your arse. Those are opinions, not facts.

A&M might have the easiest SEC schedule in recent history. Props to them for taking advantage.

6-0 with their wins against opponents a combined 8-27 in SEC play (0.223).

Next up is 1-5 South Carolina before finishing with 4-1 Texas.

A&M’s has been the easiest this year.

Mizzou’s has been easy for 12 years straight relative to the rest of the league and that’s why you get so much grief.

Spewing your uneducated and illiterate opinions should not be confused with facts.
Facts:
A&M is 9-0, there are only three teams in the country that are undefeated regardless of the so called SoS.
A&M is the only team in the country with 3 ranked wins. 2 on the road.
A&M has a currently higher ranked win than any of the top 3, with ND at #9…only Georgia’s win over current #6 Ole Miss is higher among the top five teams.
A&M should have had a two score beat down over ND, sans ref help with bad calls.
A&M kicked the shiiite outta LSU, Florida and Auburn. Florida beat # 10 Texas.
The Aggie offense has been able to score on everybody. The Aggie defense continues to improve. The special team play has greatly improved since earlier this season. What is notable is that A&M continues to improve in all areas. Last year A&M had a slew of injuries. This year they are much better injurywise.
And it’s noted that many of the same idiots that predicted a 7-5 A&M season are whining about the schedule.
There is still a lot of football to be played, but the Aggies have damn well earned where they are today as well as anyone in the country.

Wow, you Ags are easily offended. Totally expected from a team with male cheerleaders. I gave A&M props for their record & wins so quit your biching.

PS_ The facts are not opinions. Don't kid yourself. You got a shite LSU team, a wounded Mizzou team, very tight win against AU & AR. ND is overrated but congrats on the road win. Do some digging & tell me those are opinions. You will defend your team & that's fine, but calling facts opinions just makes you an idiot. You won the games you should win. All will come to a head when you have to play the top teams. I wish the Ags good luck. Got nothing against most of ya'll.
