Watching CFB Daily on ESPN, and they showed the A&M "yell practice." They have a bunch of students in the stands with these guy cheerleaders in denim coveralls leading the students in the "Eyes of Texas are Upon You" while making this motion like they are pumping an old railroad hand cart.

Anyone ever unlucky enough to see that?

I now have to watch about ten hours of John Wayne movies to get back the testosterone I lost watching that travesty.

And.. yeah, that's a song we don't sing. I've Been Working On The Railroad isn't a #1 hit in College Station.

I've been before. About the only redeeming quality is that College Station has some decent talent, so there was a lot of hot chicks to look at (not on the field, obviously. Eww gross, am I right Ags?). But the whole coordinated, super serious cheer bullshite is gay as shite.

How you could mistake The Eyes of Texas and the Ding Dong Song by Gunther is beyond me. Not even close to the same melody. The hand motions are the same, however...

I saw their cheerleaders and cheers in Jacksonville during the NCAABB tournament a few years back. I couldn't focus on the game because it was weird to see all the coordinated cheers and such. At the time I didn't care two shits either way for aTm but cult came to mind for sure.

It's their thing though. It's not changing. Weird cheers, cow bells, rammer bammer, woopigsueE, etc.

I think you missed the part where I said, "super serious."

We don't have people going around cussing at people for not participating in any of our traditions.

I jsut hope ESPN cameras dont pan on saturday to showing the male cheerleaders hugging and giggling, I guess they will visit the UF cheerleaders at some point and trade tips for make up and shite.
