Your attempted insults are typical and tired. It's not surprising, however, that your ilk would view a non-civilian student body as a slam.
The historical lack of women in the military--and subsequent lack of women at a university that was created to produce military personnel--pretty much speaks for itself.
It's so damn good to be rid of your fanbase. Count me among those Ags who hope I'm living in my Father's kingdom if/when the series returns.

If you were a man during that era, all it took to get into A&M was filling out an admission application. The military academies were never about volume and to this day are very hard to gain admittance. But, having said this, I commend those who went on to serve after their college days.
I think your tea is boiling over. You should go check it. And you can go frick yourself in the process. People like you are the reason why we left 100 years of history behind. Aren't you proud?
We aren't playing any time soon. And yes, you've had your chance. Now you don't.

Our administration bent over backwards to make that game work.
And the horns are finally ready to stop their tantrum?
Too bad.
They had their shot.
still makes no sense. If Texas wanted to renew it, then renew it? It would bring in a shitload of money, as long as its not on the longhorn network.

OK, we will have to address this CONTRACTUALLY since they will try to weasel as much advantage as they possibly can get:
1. Neutral refs for both home and away... no big12 refs, ever;
2. A&M will never appear on the LHN. Including replays of the game in it's entirety or no huddle. Additionaly, ESPN must conceal all LHN logos on A&M's campus;
3. There will be a contractual buyout. If the party cancels the series less than a year after playing a home game, their buyout doubles;
4. The game must be played prior to halfway point of conference play for either team;
5. Game must be TV broadcast statewide on over-the-air signal. If this game "belongs to the people of Texas", let them watch it.

Disagree. Man up like SC, Florida, and UGA and play your non-con rival at the end of the year.

speaking of scared, should we mention why LSU ended the series with A&M in the mid 90s???

I think you need to direct your comments to Bellmont Hall, Austin, TX.
We tried that. Now we pulled strings to get LSU at the end of the year. They had their shot at that spot. We literally had to scramble to come up with something to fill that spot, and after we did that now they want to get back together. F them. They can play us in the first half of the year. Benefits us and them, so they can't b*tch.

Mizzou and Kansas played their rivalry game at the end of the year. I like that the best. It gives you something to look forward to.

LMAO Big12Fan! Go back to Shaggybevo. Only reason you could possibly be on the rant is to follow A&M. You could say that UT is jealous that A&M moved to the SEC. UT at this time is unable to move unless they take the baggage with them or screw the other Texas schools. The other thing is A&M's increasing success is worrying the brass in Austin. You guys cant control everything.
And about scholarship limitations..... it just goes to show that once they were implemented the great DKR didnt do shite.

You addressing that crap to me? There is no general reply button, you have to reply to specific posts.
And playing the sips is, at it's base level, a business agreement. All y'all yehoos who think we should do business with the sips should get references from everyone who's done business with the sips in the last decade or so. Start with Larry Scott, PAC commissioner.

This has nothing to do with "manning up."

Big 12 tsip fan, I am sure your are too young to know history. This was the case at tu as well.
As the the women issue, ever heard of Texas Womens University? The exclusive female university would send train loads of women to the A&M campus for football games, prom's etc.
We are talking of different times now.
DKR has an unlimited budget and signed every player he could find. NCAA limitations in the 60's and 70's sent the sips on a downward spiral.
sips wanted to go the PAC12 to be with their kind, but the West coast schools wanted A&M. A&M wanted nothing to do with the PAC12 and jumped at the chance to go the SEC.
As for scheduling, we had to scramble to find games (explains South Carolina State, etc) because tu would not play us and warned their minions (Tx Tech, Baylor, OU) not to play us. SMU and Rice jumped at the chance and Houston would give up their first born to play us.
Just go away sip. You'll love Todd Graham as your new coach, when Saban tells you to "pound sand".

To be fair, playing Texas at the end of the year will be a lot different than having GT, or Clemson/FSU most years.
Nonetheless, I'd like to see it, so do it.

I don't get it, our non-conference schedule is shite. This would be a great game.

Shitty. Why are you running from your traditional rival? I still miss playing Tulane and they are worse than Texas.

Has nothing to do with "manning up". We have a great SEC opponent set for the end of the year now in LSU that we have played since before 1900. More than that though, Texas is a bad business partner that has stopped the series twice now when they got their jimmies rustled (the first time we branded their bovine and gave it a name). Why should we give up the EOY LSU game so that Texas can play us for a few years and then cancel again leaving us with no one at the end of the season?
My Mom's family is all from SC and half and half Clemson/USC. They get in to the rivalry. They also are blown away at just how nasty A&M and Texas get when some of the facts of our relationship are brought about. There is real bad blood and a history of doing everything they can to frick us not only in football but in every aspect. They don't give a shite about what is best for Texas as a State, they only care about what is best for themselves. Always has been and always will be.
I'm fine with playing Texas again but it has to be on terms that protect A&M from getting screwed. That means early season and no BDF refs. It means no LHN. Those are very reasonable terms. Otherwise they can stay in their little world where they play TCU in front of a half empty DKKKR and call it a rivalry.
