aTm, Bama, and Ole Miss look like the front runners to me. Good teams.

Georgia is much better than all of them.

Arkansas has not, and will never win the SEC in football.

Didn't Georgia already lose to one of them?

last night, you called me an idiot for saying Arkansas might be an interesting game.. you said.. “we’ve beat them 11 out of the last 12..”

My apologies, I misread your original statement. I thought you were calling Arkansas our daddy. My bad.

You have 1 dad and 1 step-dad who filled in while your dad was stationed elsewhere.

We will go 8&4 until proven otherwise.

Here’s my take. A&M is dominating mediocre teams (including Auburn; the score was a lot closer than the game), and we beat a somewhat decent ND team on the road. We are improving each week. IMO, that’s all you could ask at this point. Now, we’ll find exactly how good we are. Until the end of the road stretch, I’m just going to sit back and try to keep Hope under wraps while I enjoy the ride.

That’s absolutely how Aggies should feel. People get upset when you point out potential flaws to the point of ridiculousness. You’ve already got buckeyes saying they may be one of the best teams ever while playing a schedule that is an embarrassment. A&M is strong, but anyone who can’t admit that the schedule makers have done them a favor is a homer. Opening with 3 straight home conference games was a gift. A&M can’t help that the supposedly good teams left on the schedule are not as advertised. I would nitpick a bit about dominating teams. All of those SEC games have been close into the 4th quarter. It is a credit to the Ags for closing them out like they did, but final scores don’t always tell the whole story.

I’m pulling for TA&M. Unlike Georgia and Oklahoma, they beat us fair.

So if three teams like Bama, old miss and a&m finish with identical conference records and no head to head, which two goes?

It took a missed FG to beat ND so no. I'd put money on Bama, Ole Miss, or UGA over aggy.

Agreed.
It’ll likely be TAMU vs Bama or Oklahoma.

We probably drop another game but I don’t want us anywhere near the SECCG because it’ll likely eliminate us.

1. Conference record versus like opponents.

Then a bunch of other crap…
And eventually a coin toss.

Which would be a maddening and truly fricked up, but also hilarious way for A&M to miss and would not put it past us.

We are the (old) Boston Red Sox of CFB.

Honestly, the SEC now sucks. No wonder CBS switched to the B1G, it’s the better conference

How come you're not as hard on Bama (lost to FSU), Ole Miss (only beat Kentucky by 7 and Washington State by 3), or UGA (lost to Bama)?

aTm looks solid but the back half of their schedule is much more difficult than the first half. If they’re as good as they’ve looked against mediocre competition, they should finish undefeated with a SECCG appearance.

Three tough road games left against LSU, Mizzou, and Texas. Probably a little premature to say “clear favorite”, imo.

Bama - looking better than week 1
Ole Miss - perhaps too light on them
UGA - Bama was a rivalry game and hard to pick against the defending conference champ until proven otherwise

And the question isn't who should be ranked highest today but rather expectations for end of season.
