9 yards per attempt against them.

That is fricking awful.

Burrow is going to fricking eat.

Roses are red, violets are neat.

Kellen Monds pass, is incomplete.

Thought this game would be close until I learned this.

For comparison, LSU only gives up 76% of opponent pass averages.

Yards per play is pretty much equal. But that secondary is going to doom y'all.

At that rate, Burrow will throw for 229 against.

Won't be enough.

If only LSU had a QB that could exploit such a weakness

If Burrow passes for that much , it would mean that we had success running.

I don't see how A&M wins, man. Mond is going to turn it over .

Why? What do yall run for each game? What percent of opponent rushing averages does A&M give up?

A&M staff no doubt has been watching film and know that our weakness is the Oline. they will be dialing up blitz packages. we have to do better than we have been doing at stopping the pass rush.

this is why the game will be close. our defense is stout. A&M doesn't get it - we may not be that high statistically but we can be a wrecking crew causing havoc and turnovers.

but the big matchup is our offense vs a&m defense. we can't take advantage of the weakness if we don't give burrow time to throw.

What's the rushing % comparison? I'm genuinely curious. (PS: We already know our pass D is horrendous)

A&M gives up 64% of rushing averages.

Which in every sense of the word is elite.

Compared to LSU giving up 86%

I'd say anything below 80% in either stat is really good.

The problem being that teams have more than their usual production against A&M through the air.

Whoever hits the hardest is going to win this game. I'd give the edge to LSU.

Depends on if LSU's wide receivers can keep it under ten drops.

This is what I'm most worried about, we will have open targets and targets which Burrow will hit, can they not drop the ball 6 times in 1 half remains a question

That aggie defense made Fitz look like an incredible passer.

It's great having the aggies in conference for an easy win each year.

Burrow will not win this game throwing the football. The O line is crap and the WR’s drop passes like cell phone calls in 1994

So Burrow May look like a below average QB this week?

That’s the reason they were brought in to the SEC.

And would still look better than any QB on Florida’s roster.

There is no question that A&M's secondary is very suspect. Heck, that might be kind to say. It has been the Achilles heel all season long. Look at the Auburn game and the Moo State game for reference.

Still, this is the best run defense A&M has had since the 1990s. This should be a great matchup. I would give LSU the edge in the game since y'all have had our number for so long. Just don't expect this to be the same A&M team you've seen the past few seasons.
