Would not expect anyone to be after last year. Laugh at, yes. Scared, no.

You had a good run with Tubbs when the SEC was down.

The SEC was not down from 2003-2008. 5 national championships in 6 years if you count 2004 AU which you might as well considering no one could beat us and only the defending national champs didn't lose by double digits to us.

You are not on LSU/Bama level.

We were light years ahead of bama until saban arrived and we were pretty close to even with LSU, swapping wins for 6 years.

Did you realize no team in the SEC has more undefeated seasons than AU in the past 30 years? Only FL and LSU have as many SEC titles (maybe bama now too after last year).

Right now, bama is well out in front. AU, LSU, and A&M all have the potential to be next in line. LSU has the best foundation right now. A&M is probably in the next best position as they will pull kids from Texas they haven't been able to get before. AU will be right there if Gus turns out to be a good coach, so AU has the most questions right now, but all 3 programs are in the same boat potential wise. And bama is only out in front right now due to Saban.

aTm loses 4 next year and probably becomes a resident member of the bottom half of the SEC West.

You think so? Could be interesting.

I think Davis is going to be a stud.

Nah they'll prob go 10-2 9-3, unless JFF has a shitty year which is highly unlikely.

Brandon Williams. Remember the name. And Manziel is good, but great coaches (Sumlin) put great QBs in position to succeed. It's not a fluke that LSU's highly rated QBs always bust (since after Flynn). They aren't put in position to succeed.

You have been in the SEC for 1 yr.... Show some respect..... Not only will you be nothing without Johnny Football, but everyone has a year of tape on him now..... Furthermore you know he got lucky a few times, that wont happen again.... See ya in the bayou.....

Kenny Hill. Incoming Frosh QB from Southlake Carroll. He's the future after JFF IMO. Dude is a stud. Probably not as much as a threat with his feet but extremely good.

Even during the FRANCHIONE and SHERMAN years, we never had a season where we did as badly as Auburn 2012.

Rice - Win
Sam Houston State - Win
Alabama - Toss up
SMU - Win
@Arkansas - Win
bye
@Ole Miss - Toss up
Auburn - Win
Vanderbilt - Win
UTEP - Win
bye
@LSU - Toss up
@Missouri - Win

only way I see 8-4 is if JFF gets hurt and misses several games.

Kenny Hill or Matt Davis is a toss-up.. I was really impressed with MD out of high-school, but he's having trouble overtaking Joekel for the back-up spot at the moment. He'll need to come on strong real soon if he's going to prove he can start after Johnny is gone.

Also, all things considered, last year was probably at the top of the list pertaining to best case scenarios for A&M in the long run (outside of winning the NC of course). We could have come in and met expectations with a 6-6/7-5 record and still been well off due to joining the SEC, overtime.

So are we worried that we might fall off after our Heisman winning QB leaves? I say the damage is already done and we've obtained our foot-hold in recruiting a few/several years ahead of schedule. I'm just happy we're here and have the amusement of other SEC fans asking if we're concerned with falling out of the top of the SEC.

Lol wut.

Kevin Sumlin is the coach now. But you know that--which is why quoted his name and correctly announced his record against Miles.

I'd put the Vandy game as a "toss up" and see y'all losing those 4 "toss up" games.
