Yeah they fired him with those things.
If you told me Jimbo just got a generational talent once, played in an extremely weak ACC, got matched up with a vastly overachieving miracle Auburn team in the BCSNC, and his championship is a complete fluke, it'd be hard to argue

The year aleva signed EdO. jimbo was not an option. sexton and aleva never really talked during the '16 season. They had a deal lined up to be the coach after the '15 season. Then sexton stuck his hand out again and aleva said frick you. Les then beat aggies AGAIN and was retained for the '16 season. once Les was fired aleva was all in on hermann.

Well, A&M fans should know a mediocre hire when they see one. You guys could have saved many tens of MILLIONS by keeping Sumlin. What’s changed in the Win and Loss columns with Jimbo? Virtually nothing. lol. Time will tell if history repeats this go around. I don’t think it will, I think it’s a great hire
