He would have won the He15man too.

Ole boy will hopefully not get boo'd when he comes back. He's doing what I'm sure many folks would do in his situation.

Best of luck to Showers! Only downside to having a phenom like JFF blow up out of nowhere. But Jameil got his degree from A&M and will always be an Aggie in my book--here's hoping he returns to appreciative cheers at Kyle Field.

Gig 'Em at UTEP, Showers!

As Tbird said -- he'll always be an Aggie.

Now we will try and decapitate him on the field, but I doubt there will be any boos.

He's a great Aggie and hope he does well at UTEP.
Less that a year ago he was slated to be the starter for A&M.

Ags don't have any ill will towards him.

Good for him! I can't imagine him being booed by Aggies and I wish him luck... but not too much on Nov. 2.

I did too, stripes.
He's going to be great. That's a huge get for the miners.
Hate that it had to happen like this.

I remember when UTEP was hanging with OU last year. Man I was pulling for them that night.

Man, El Paso is really out in the middle of nowhere though.

Indeed it is, El Paso is actually closer to Los Angeles, CA than it is to Houston, TX. The ginormity of this state always blows my mind.

It's in the middle of nowhere true....but I don't think people realize how many people live there. It's in the top 20 in the USA with regards to population.

It's ahead of cities like Boston, Denver, Baltimore, Seattle, Portland, vegas, atlanta, Milwaukee, etc.

Uh what? No way is it above most of those cities in population. I know Atlanta alone has over 5 million people. El Paso has nowhere near that.

What's your source? It must be a statistic that only takes into account population within proper city limits (and illegals). All of those metropolitan areas are much bigger and more populous than El Paso.
