We wouldn’t have time to wash all the pots and mobilize to tailgate.

And for the thinking this will change with Texas coming into the league, don't hold your breath.

Do you really think aggy is going to be in on the decision as to when to play Texas???

Ha ha ha, Texas, TV, and the SEC will make the call.

I’m thinking there are 3 possible scenarios for scheduling past 2024:

1) We stay at 1 fixed opponent

In this case, A&M and LSU appear to the the lone annual opponent. If this is the case then either:

A) LSU and A&M continue to play on Thanksgiving, and Texas and OU will rotate with Arkansas and Missouri as to who they play on the last weekend
B) LSU and A&M will play earlier in the year, and A&M and LSU will rotate with Texas and Arkansas on the last weekend

2) We move to 9 games and 3 fixed opponents

In this case, LSU might wind up with OU, or a rotation of OU and Arky on the final weekend.

3) We move to protect certain rivalries, as other conferences have done, but not necessarily the same number for all.

Honestly, not sure how this would work out. The big difficulty in this weekend is that nearly every team has a set Rivalry Week opponent:
UGa - GT
SC - Clem
UF - FSU
UK - Louisville
Iron Bowl
Egg Bowl
Tenn - Vandy
Texas - A&M

Leaving LSU, OU, Arky and Missouri. If Arky and Missouri were to stay on TG, the only opponent left is Oklahoma.

Ha ha ha, Texas and the SEC will make the call.

One of the aggy male cheerleaders posted a pic from their pen1s cam the reaction of aggy fans when they found out they had to play Texas again.

I think LSU and A&M probably stays on thanksgiving bc we are permanent opponents. I forgot we are in the 1- rotate 7 seven system.

If they protect a rivalry for Texas then it will be Texas - OU. Which would leave LSU, A&M, Arky, Mizzou. Out of that scenario, give me Arky on the weird Black Friday timeslot. A&M can have Mizzou.

I agree that Texas will have OU, and that will leave A&M to side with us. They’re not gonna give A&M to Missouri and LSU to Arky.

In that case, do we play A&M every TG or do we play them elsewhere on the calendar and alternate:

TEX-LSU & A&M-ARKY
ARKY- LSU & A&M-TEX

If we have to have A&M as permanent opponent, I would prefer to see us alternate Texas and Arky on TG.

I hate this scenario you guys lay out bc it screws Mizzou. Arkansas deserves to be stuck with Misery.
