You're like the 6th or 7th person to make that comment.

Are you saying we shouldn't have nice things because we haven't won a title lately?

Until the "weird" is removed, won't matter.

I guess they are leaving the trophy room intact.
No need to upgrade there!

it doesn’t help College Station from being a total shite hole

So much I could say.

I’ll just leave it at: You’ve never been to CS if you think it’s a shithole.
It borders on being pristine to the point of feeling like you’re existing entirely in a brand new subdivision.
I wish we had more old, traditional houses, buildings, and businesses to “dirty” it up a bit.
Add contextual character, if you will.

Top image: Why is there a huge drainage culvert in the center of the square? What meaning is this?

Yeah, kind of like your mom's place when the "team" is in town....or maybe your wife's while you sit in the closet.

I think that’s part of the current Aggie Ring Plaza.
It’s a large gold sculpture, not a drainage ditch.
That’s funny tho; the renderings aren’t completely accurate.

ETA: Found this. That particular locale is indeed the Ring Statue site.

Getting away from that Soviet block architecture throughout the campus

This was one of the first things I noticed when I visited the campus. I’m glad to see things seem to be changing cause it was desperately needed. I’m sure they’ve hit my family member up that has a 12th man box and field named for him.

Bro...Google Earth Brazos County and tell me again how it's "covered" with these species. All I'm saying is that the way College Station looks now, a few more trees will go a long way to make it seem more inviting.

Bruhhh! College Station/Brazos County are in this thing called the Post Oak Savannah. Uncultured swine…

Some people prefer to walk out their front door and see more than 5 yards.
