Alabama has blasted LSU for 8 years in a row - they were barely competitive games. LSU got one from them and it took all they had to do it.
It’s understandable that they are excited, there is something palpable about not beating a rival for years and years and then finally getting it done.
It’s probably a feeling that Alabama fans don’t get because they haven’t had to deal with it for a really long time.
Bama will have a very good chance of flipping the rivalry back to their side again next year.

All of this. That's the kind of thing that should only be heard by those in the locker room. I'm sure plenty of coaches have yelled "frick LSU" over the years and it doesn't bother me one bit. It's an emotional game. People need to get over themselves.
