I agree. The chances of Alabama losing Saturday are slim. Is it possible? Yes....but certainly not probable.

I dont even think they are slim - we could definitely lose. Georgia is a very good, complete football team.

But this season has been incredible and I'm not gonna spend my time in what if mode.

Are you going to tell me a 2-3 hour drive is going to deter Bama fans from making the trip to a neutral site. Come on man don't try it
Have you NEVER watched an SECCG in Atlanta when Georgia was playing? How many fricking tickets do you think Tide fans get? You come around here posting of things that you know very little about.
Atlanta, Georgia is no neutral site game when Georgia is playing!

blow out loss to Purdue, more than anything, certainly says a team isn’t the best in the nation.

Like a blow out loss to LSU?

Only an Auburn fan would think LSU and Purdue are equal.

But it should be. I mean, the only reason it might not be is because Alabama fans want to save their money for the playoffs. They have equal access to the tickets.
The only reason we show up in Atlanta so strongly is because we still need a map to get there, while Alabama could make the drive with their eyes closed.

Sure you could lose, but I would still say you are prohibitive favorites. At least 13 point favorites.

I agree. but Alabama is a different animal this year. I am just showing my respect and being level headed.

Nor should you. I rarely do, but it is what makes fans stay interested. I mean, look at the number of threads talking about "What if..." happens in the championship games...and who will make the playoffs, etc...people are passing time. Trouble is, it isn't productive because more often than not "What if" scenarios rarely happen.

Georgia:
20 point loss to #10 LSU
Won the rest of their games by 17+ points
Playing #1 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game

Ohio State:
29 point loss to a 6-6 Purdue team
close game with 4-8 Nebraska
close game with 5-7 Maryland
Playing #21 Northwestern who is 8-4 in B1G Championship Game

Don't even count OSU's road win against top 12 PSU or a home win by 25 points against a top 10 Michigan.

Playing the bias game much?

OSU beat a better tean than any team UGA has played by 3 possessions and took a knee at the 5 yard line. Last week

I am just saying a blowout loss shouldn't spell doom for a team, as it clearly doesn't for UGA

I'm with you on this. Tickets are divided evenly. It's not like Alabama fans do not have equal access to the tickets.
.........................................................
"The SEC is responsible for the Football Championship ticket procedures. 32,600 tickets (16,300 per school) are allocated to the participating institutions. The SEC distributes the remaining tickets to the SEC office, sponsors, suites, Mercedes-Benz lease holders and SEC Championship season ticket holders. UGA's ticket allotment is distributed amongst TGBC donors, UGA faculty/staff, UGA students and other institutional needs. There were approximately 11,000 tickets that were distributed to TGBC donors."
Besides this, many Alabama will forgo the game in anticipation of going to a playoff game...it's expensive!
Bottom line is it's ridiculouse to think that it won't be basically a Georgia crowd there...history has proven it so.

I don't have an issue with Bama winning. I will watch all of their games. My problem is Bama only playing one ranked team, losing by 2 TDs, not winning theor division, and still getting in the playoffs. If Bama runs the table like this year, I have no issue with them in.

Michigan fricking lost to Notre Dame! Michigan wasn't shite and tOSU simply proved it.

If Bama was in the CCG last year and lost, would you have been in the playoffs?

I think so. Would have meant we were 12-1. Still would have gotten in over a 2 loss Ohio State.

Blowout to a bad team would spell doom for everyone, even uga.

I mean this is standard talk by someone. One team is really good, until they lose, then they suck. According to SEC fans, there are 4 good teams in the country, and they all reside in the SEC

Did you even watch the game?...check out the stats Maryland kicked tOSU's arse for four quarters...and y'all know it.
Bottom line is y'all won't get in even if you run up the score on an 8-4 Northwestern team. Be happy with winning the championship of a shitty conference, getting your asses stomped in some bowl game then having your mealy-mouthed coach retire.
Come back when y'all have a team worth talking about.
Oh yeah, and anybody that uses the word "precious" will suck a cock in a heartbeat.

I didn't count Georgia's wins either. Ohio State's problem is twofold:
you lost in blowout fashion to 6-6 Purdue
you are playing an 8-4 Northwestern team in your Conference Championship Game. If you were playing say an 11-1 Wisconsin team then this would be very different discussion. Beating #21 Northwestern does absolutely nothing to override the Purdue, Nebraska, and Maryland games.

Putting a beat down on the committee's #4 already did that.

Looked like Maryland had an open guy in the end zone for the win and the QB missed him. 52-51 vs Maryland is just awful.

Your ranking behind Oklahoma and uga doesn’t support this take at all.
