Nobody has been doing this. The blueprint to stopping that shitty offense is already being replicated every week by everybody you play. Bama will do the same.

Florida and Arkansas played one safety over the top and one-on-one coverage for nearly the entire game.
Florida had 8 in the box 90% of the time.
Both held us to 0 at the half.

It's not one particular thing. Like many Bama fans like to blame the DC which there is some fault there; however, there are multiple variables in play.
- New defensive schemes for the current defensive players to learn.
- Bama lost some key players from last year's defense which really wasn't all that great. They played good at times but were certainly not an elite or even very good defense.
- Players are not as talented as those in the past. What made Bama so great, from 2018 back, was at least one elite level player at every position group and especially the DL. The current roster has nobody close to the elite DL and LBers they've had in the past.

I agree. The D lost the line of scrimmage waaaay too often vs Vandy. That is a problem going forward.

Definitely taking the Vols. They win.
Bama has ZERO defense. That will lose more games, too.
Not that TN is that good. Just better matchup for them playing a team with a lack of defense. And they have potential to put up points if their QB stops acting like a scared freshman.

I've been calling for it since the Oklahoma game. Roll him out away from the pressure like Kiffin did with Crompton. Compton looked like dog shite leading up to a huge game much like this one against a loaded UGA team as a heavy dog. We sliced them up so badly it was over at the half.
Am surprised it took Halze and Heupel this long to figure it out...just saying.
Probably they had to change a few things schematically up after that Oklahoma game i think which most likely took a little time.That Arkansas loss could come back to haunt us.
