are all better than Bret in the SEC atm. Do you not agree?
I agree with everyone on that list except Muschamp.

I just don't see where all their anger on this is coming from. I hope BB does well. But to rank him in the upper echelon of the SEC is a fricking joke until he proves himself. Winning the B10 three years in a row is impressive, but I'm not sold on him yet.

Why not? Not flaming, just curious.

It's Arkansas fans, that's just the way they are.

There are also plenty of coaches who switch jobs and don't have the same success. Poor job fit is a big reason why that happens.
Everything I've seen from Bielema since he has been hired seems like he is the perfect fit at Arkansas. He obviously still has to win on the field but so far it looks like a great fit.

Bielema had sustained success at Wisconsin, Muschamp just hasn't proven anything at Florida.

I hate when you and I agree on shite, so I'm just gonna throw this out there.

So you'll give Sumlin a pass, but not Muschamp? I think Muschamp did a better job than Sumlin this year. Florida's offense was absolutely fricking anemic and they still managed 11 (or 10?) wins.

I disagree, A&M blew out almost everyone they played, beat Bama and won the Cotton Bowl. Florida needed a last second miracle to beat Louisiana-Lafayette and then embarrased the conference against Louisville.
Plus Muschamp makes a fool of himself on the sidelines in seemingly every game.

Harbaugh throws hissy fits on the sideline for the Niners..don't see anyone saying that affects his coaching

That's the only thing you took from that post?

I think he was great hire for Arkansas. I listed him at #9(prolly top 15 in all of NCAA), but he could easily move up some after this season. I just want to see him in the SEC first. Short of winning the SEC this year, I still don't think I would move him into the top 5. Between the top 4 having won multiple SEC titles and except for Richt, at least one national title too. And since it's Vandy, it would be hard for me to list Franklin lower than 5 even after this season. If BB or Freeze wins the SEC this I would prolly move them up, and Sumlin would prolly need a BCS title for me to move him into the top 5 after this year.(JFF being the reason, fair or not)
I hope BB does well there. I like our games on Black Friday to have meaning.(if we even get to keep them) Like the 02 game where the winner goes to Atlanta

Only 4 on that list has been a HC in SEC for 5 or more years. Longevity is an accomplishment in itself apparently.

to last 5 years in this conference, I would say so.
I wonder how many SEC teams can say their last 3 coaches all made it at least 5 years. Dinardo was fired after 5, Saban left for the Dolphins after 5, and Miles is still going strong after 8.

CLM might have 15 years here when it's all said and done. Nowadays that's pretty rare, for sure.

I still think Muschamp did more with less. They beat A&M (albeit early in the season) and LSU. That's a hell of a season by SEC (at least in 2012) standards.
