Not a trick play as you described. It's ilegal.

So?
Shall we trot everyone back out onto the field, reset the clock to 10:50 in the 2nd quarter and do it all over?
That don't happen, bucko. The game's the game.

Where was all this SEC outrage when Ole Miss did it, especially against YOUR team in 2023? Not a single crybaby in the comments of this tweet. Zero outrage, and it's the identical play.
Did the SEC officiating offices make a statement when Ole Miss ran it and say it was illegal? If not, why not?

You do realize Lane Kiffin is touted as the most bush league coach in the league? 17 faked injuries in one game ring a bell?

I don't give a shite what Kiffin is touted as and that's not the point.
The point is, why wasn't it illegal in 2023 when Ole Miss did it and why was there no outrage from all of you hacks back then? Where was the SEC officiating office in 2023 making a public statement that it was illegal and should not have counted? It was just two seasons ago. Why is it different now?
Not a single one of you vaginas has addressed why it was okay when Ole miss did it against ATM.

You're quite emotional. Your staff is unethical, and your team benefited from the incompetence of the crew on Saturday. Own it and move on.

No dog in that fight but when the SEC releases a statement like they did you need to just be thankful you got away with one and move on, especially because you got the W. Every game has bad calls and bad no calls, you have to overcome them. OU got a gift and it absolutely helped them win the game and yet they are making threads about it as if anyone is going to do anything but

Wasn't the rule ammended in 2024 specifically because of this? I don't think this is the argument you think you're making.

They instituted the current substitution rule because of Auburn.
For years, the Auburn offense revolved around gimmicks and loopholes.
A core component of that was making late subsitiutions on offense, then hurrying up the snap to force the defense to keep their mismatched defense on the field or get caught mid substitution with players out of position.
Auburn fans took so much delight in it. They loved that their team thumbed their nose at sportsmanship and gentlemen’s rules.
Now they are getting a heaping spoonful themselves and it is beautiful to behold.

Different substitution rule bud, but don't let me get in the way of your Auburn obsession.

I'm sure you can point me to your outrage when Ole Miss did it to your own team lil aggie.
I'm waiting.....

How would I know? You tell me when the rule went into place.

You don't know what ammended means, do you?
That's fitting.

I never said it was.
But they absolutely changed the rules to allow the defense to have time to make substitutions if the offense does. They did that because of Auburn and Gus Malzhahn.
You guys used to love that shite. But now you don’t that the shoe is on the other foot.
It is just so beautiful to see Auburn fans complaining about a substitution rule.

Lane Kiffin ran this same play against Texas A&M when Jimbo was there in 2023. It worked then too. Interesting note, the DC at Aggy at that time was DJ Durkin, the current DC of Auburn.
Sankey had no business calling out OU. It was simply because Auburn whined and OU is not considered part of the SEC country club yet. Auburn needs to pay attention and play defense against the 11 who are on the field.
Deception not part of the game?? Well then, get rid of the play action pass and the quarterback pulling the ball out of the running back's hands after the QB hands it off.

This really isn't the good argument you think you are making, it actually proves the opposite of what you want it to prove.

I agree with most of your post, but I assure you OU is already more respected as a member of the SEC than AU ever will be.

If OU truly asked the officials in the pre game meeting about using this play...
And the officials told them that it was legal...
It just shows that SEC football officials are as ignorant about football as SEC fans.
