The SEC officials at the game were wrong. The SEC officiating office, who outrank the officials at the game, said they were wrong.

Godgamn you're retarded.

You’re the one arguing that the crew at the game somehow was right when the main office said they were wrong. Frankly, you’re embarrassing yourself and you don’t even see it.

You mean the narrative officially released by the SEC office stating that a flag should have been thrown?

Doesn’t matter what the sec office said at 11pm. The WR walked to the line and checked with the official. If the ref didn’t know the rule that’s on the sec not on OU. Ole miss ran this same fricking play two years ago against A&M and none of you said shite about it.

Correctamundo! Congratulations on reiterating what I said several posts ago. Your officiating crews and your officiating office aren't even on the same page about the rules they are tasked with enforcing. You have arrived in the present.

I said no such thing. You created this narrative out of thin air because you're in your feels like a bitch.

If i were auburn i would not complain about the Sategna catch, the auburn defense was just asleep, end of story…..

If i were Auburn i would complain about the non call on PI, As i remember Auburn ran a trick play, meant to deceive us (oh the shame of it all) and because of the trick play the back judge had to scramble to get behind the play and because of the deception he was not looking right at the catch….

Kind of ironic dont you think……

Not to mention that the missed PI didnt cost them 7. They scored a TD like 3 or 4 plays later.

If I were Auburn I'd ask myself why I got a QB out of the portal who was known to have zero pocket awareness, holds the ball for 30 minutes every time he drops back to pass, and won't even bother to try to throw the ball away instead of taking costly sack after sack after sack.

And why is the answer "cuz he beat Bama lass year"?

Thats what they should be focusing on instead of crying, because now all of their future SEC opponents know it too.

Jesus…. this horse isn’t getting any deader no matter how many more times ya’ll beat it.

League office said it should have been a penalty, so it probably should have been. I had no idea and I bet most of the people posting about it had no idea either. The ref standing 3 feet away from Satenga didn’t know either, nor did the replay officials who can call a review if they see an obvious missed call.

There’s nothing saying OU wouldn’t have scored on that drive had a penalty been called so it’s all conjecture. Bottom line is Auburn had the lead in the 4th and they couldn’t keep it. They had the ball for a final drive and took a safety.

In 2006 OU got the worst officiating hose job at Oregon I’ve ever seen. For those unfamiliar, Oregon kicked an on-side kick with 1 minute left and down 6. The ball was touched by an Oregon player before traveling 10 yards, Oregon interfered with our catch, and OU recovered the football - the ball squirted out of the pile during the scrum and our running back had the ball in his hands. The refs awarded the ball to Oregon despite 2 clear penalties on Oregon and completely ignored that we had the damn ball. They followed it up with 2 BS pass interference calls to get Oregon into scoring position and they did just that, winning 34-33. Despite every human being with eyeballs agreeing that was an absolute screw job, OU still should have manned up and stopped Oregon from scoring. 20 years later, the record books still shows Oregon 34 OU 33. Missed calls are part of the game - saying a second quarter missed call affected Auburn’s ability to do anything in the last 5 minutes of the game is silly.

And, you’re making an arse of yourself by first trying to argue the refs on the field were right and then trying to crawfish and claim you never said that.

The conference already stated that the move was illegal. The point of your post shows that the refs are idiots - not that the SEC is wrong.

I didn't say they were right. I said we cleared the play before the game with the SEC officiating crew (we did), during the game when we ran it (we did), and the referee himself said it was legal to the broadcasting crew on live TV in front of the entire nation. All of that happened and you don't get to just whistle past it like it didn't.

Are you implying that we shouldn't believe what we're told by SEC crews on the ground and instead, should call the SEC officiating office for clarfication before and during a game??????
