Some big names have already agreed to be the fallback option should the whales say no

LSU will get a good coach though

Not recently, no. But I also don’t find it “the best entertainment anywhere” to go to another team’s message board so I can start threads about it on another board. Which is why I said that says more about him than them.

Meh

Not nearly as entertaining as watching this board try to convince themselves LSU was "too poor" to fire Orgeron the past year in a half.

Oh yeah, they're just lining up to get a chance to go to Baton Rouge.

As noted, Woodward is just trying to decide which one he wants. Rumor is that he's kind of torn whether to hire Saban or a younger guy, as this coach will be long term unless Woodward decides he wants somebody else in a year or two.

Then doubling down by saying LSU is too poor to hire a good coach.

Coaching Changes board. The most awesome time was the wishful tom fools believing Saban was going to Texas. It really is great entertainment.

but see, it was the long play all the time. Now Saban may be lucky enough to get that call from Woodward to return to BR.

LSU will hire a better coach to replace O than Alabama will to replace CNS. Fact.

Whenever anyone ends a post with an emphatic ‘fact,’ it rarely turns out the way that they want it to.

Yeah, after LSU was turned down by basically every other coach to have made the CWS in that timeframe!

Oh, that's for sure, because Alabama doesn't have an AD smart enough to fire coaches in the middle of the year, then let him stay, resulting in recruiting going to hell and players transferring out, all as a smoke screen for hiring the new best coach in the entire college football playing universe.

That Woodward is a smart feller!

They are buying out and replacing the big 3 coaches and staffs in 12 months. Those children’s hospitals ain’t got that kind of money to allocate

Who would want that whining Dabo?

Riley isn’t leaving okie.

Fisher could be a possibility

I would take Tucker if he was willing

Saban ain’t leaving. He’s the Forever Coach. In 2065, Saban will still be pacing the sidelines at Bryant-Denny-Saban Stadium.

You don't know that. We just built a beautiful, brand new facility. You really think BR has that many sick kids?

Easy state. You’ve got a retro coach who can’t coach on big stage. Too weird. A let’s upset somebody coach. You’d kill for a jimbo. So would LSU. But LSU has a chance.

If you don’t know for certain LSU has already made the pitch, you are unable to even follow threads. It’s his to take or reject. Don’t coattail. It’s not attractive.

Don't think Dabo would likely be offered or take it
if so. His future is continuing on the easier path
and his 10-year, $93-million feather bed.
Fisher's not moving and unlikely for Riley, who
just doesn't seem like a fit at LSU anyway.
Woodward's best showboat hire would be Luke Fickell---but then, there stands USC.
