We couldn’t beat Georgia but we played them close enough that it’s a W on our playoff resume

Did you figure out that they make you play a minimum of 60 minutes, yet?

Kirby seems to shite the bed against Bama more often than not.

What that being said

It will be an absolute war between two outstanding teams.

I like the revenge angle in these kinds of rematches but UGA sounds like they are beat up so who knows.

Should be a great game.

1-10 vs Bama.

Cherry-picked stat to make it look worse than it is. Everybody wants to start counting at the 2008 game in Athens because of how lopsided it was.

If you're going back to previous coaches' records, then start w/ Saban vs. Richt, where there's the 2007 win vs the Tide in Tuscaloosa.

Smart's losses to Saban are in the books. There's nothing that can change those, but the bottom line is that DeBoer's 2 wins vs. Smart have been to the tune of 10 pts, combined. Let's not pretend that they were nuking UGA from orbit.

They were close games that could've gone either way.

Huh? Not sure who or why.

He’s pulling it out his arse to play the victim. Pretty common on tRant, I recognize the fragility.

I think our defense is too good to allow that to happen. The question is, can our offense recover any of the mojo it used to have but has progressively lost through the second half of the season? I see this game ending up as something like a 20-13 UGA win, unfortunately.

Complicating the matter is Georgia's defense has been ascending while the Tide's offense has regressed, per their fans.

What if this is only the second of three games they end up playing? Wild

Bama is a slight favorite imo.

Bama is +2.5 out in Vegas.

Not a huge dog, but given the injury situation for Bama since the game in Athens I think that’s fair.

Those people must be on drugs.
Bama has owned Kirby at UGA.

In previous games, the margin for Georgia was to either win against Saban or likely miss the playoffs. 2021 was an exception.

This time around, Bama is more likely to be ditched if they lose and Georgia is still in the playoffs at 11-2 if they lose.

I'm hopng that Bama significantly under-estimates Toliver and Morris.

Georgia is likely in with a loss to Bama, but Bama will get a home game against y’all in the first round lol.

Put OU jerseys on the Georgia players. They'll be alright.

Given Kirbys track record against them I can definitely see how Alabama fans would seem confident about the game. Even though I'm a Georgia fan if I was forced to bet money on the game I would have to go with Alabama, they just seem to be a blind spot for Smart and Georgia

We outplayed Bama in Athens but gave it away with a dropped TD pass and a missed blocking assignment on a 4th down. Either of those mistakes not made and we win. Bama won’t get that lucky this time.

Considering the history, why would anyone assume that?
