I agree. Being confident is huge but knowing you dont have the dogs is also important . Solid coach tho

Does DVH retire this year if he wins the Natty? I was talking to some Hawg fans at the game and they said he was 65.

He’s welcome to come back on staff, he’s a very good recruiter. He never was a problem here, that’s why his behavior has surprised/disappointed me.

Absolutely. Zero reason to come back if you get your natty. Ride off to retirement and become a fan. He will be known as the best coach on the Hill since Nolan.

I think he retires regardless. 2018 is as close as he’ll get

I’m a TV fan. I love the fire he brings and his teams play so hard. Hate the BS posturing by his players, wish he’d dial that back. But, helluva coach.

I don’t think anyone could watch Tennessee vs Arkansas this season and not think the hogs were the better ball club. Also why would DVH retire other maybe a little fatigue? I’m sure if you look at the numbers he is currently in his best stretch of his career. No reason to think he couldn’t make Omaha 3 to 4 more times

Honestly, the more I watch him with the media, the more I soften on him. Good season Tennessee, Im glad we were the ones that got to send you home. Hope we get that chance to do the same to LSU. No days off for this squad. No dog pile, they arent done

Cut him some slack, he gets nervous when he comes to Baum cuz he knows he’ll have the keys to the kingdom in the not so distant future

Van Horn is 65. I don't blame him doing all he can to get a natty. Very good coach. I support him. Very good 23 years as coach!
