Has anyone ever wondered if you are the only other person here playing on Willy T’s playground with him and all of his alters?

Big 6

Fair enough. Just realize that if one of the other teams wins a national title before Texas does, Texas will be ejected from the Big 6.

Right now Bama and Georgia are the 2 most consistent teams at the top. A two loss season for these two is considered a failure.

The other teams have up and down cycles right now and cannibalize one another.

Vandy, bless their hearts, are unable to climb out of the cellar. We took that spot for a couple of years but have been able to dig out of it.

What Bama and Georgia have been doing is impressive considering the level of competition in our conference.

I don’t wish for either of those programs to fail, I wish for my team to rise to that level, but I wish to win the lottery as well and the odds are probably about the same.

Texas will have to earn their stripes in the SEC either way, and I’m ok with that. If we don’t play for and/or win a CC in the first 5-10 years.. then we don’t belong in that top tier.

Then again, that won’t be as important as making the 12 team playoff, so I suspect that the new “Big 6” tag will apply to the first 6 SEC teams that make the playoffs under the new format.

Over the next 10-15 years.. I could see these teams making it at least once.

Great Chance
Georgia
Alabama
LSU

Good Chance
Texas
Oklahoma
Florida
Tennessee
A&M
Auburn

Maybe
Arkansas
Kentucky
Ole Miss
South Carolina

Not Likely
Mississippi State
Vanderbilt
Missouri

Seriously though. Texas will be a solid member. Silly to think they’re close to top tier at this point. I know you had a nice recruiting class but this is the SEC. A lot of teams can recruit.

Texas is not back, but things are looking up.

QB Ewers, Murphy, Manning
RB Baxter
WR Worthy, AD, Cook, Neyor
TE Sanders
OL Banks, Campbell

those guys are all possible first or second round draft picks in the coming years..

For reference, Bijan was the first 1st round pick Texas has had on offense since Vince in 2006.

So yeah.. things are definitely getting better, but we now have to turn that into Wins.

As the defense likely has a lot of guys drafted as well, but the top round talent is not as good.

Probably just Anthony Hill & Jaylon Ford as top round guys right now. A couple of other freshman could work their way up there. That’s where we need to get better.

Texas will be “back” when 2 things happen.
1) NFL Draft Skins on the wall
2) Playoff appearance

Recruiting will go very well with those 2 things.

It is still about the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s

You’re not tier 1

Haven't SEC fans been warned about the way Texas fans been behaving on here and they will be wanting to control this conference once both Texas and Oklahoma are in the conference?

Bet Auburn finishes ahead of at least seven or eight you have listed ahead of them

2023 is THE big year for Sark. If we're mediocre again this year I'll lose all faith in him becoming a top tier coach. No reason to talk about 2024 and beyond until we prove something next year.

If we're talking about overall athletics programs, Texas will be at the top of the pyramid from day one.

Lol aggies who create longhorn accounts are pathetic. You need to be more subtle if you want to sell it better. Stick to dildo pics. It suits you better.

You can't win in AA ball and you going to dominate in the pros, let's see how this plays out.

Excluding 1910,1911,1925......since 1974 Auburn is 3-2 against Texas including a two game winning streak. Last win was in a Austin.
I could be wrong but I would think your place in our conference has to be earned!

Hmm, one averages 6 losses per year in the equivalent of conference USA

The other is winning championships in the SEC

Definitely can’t figure out the similarities you longhorn fans keep claiming

Just wait.

The days of Texas losing a player to the systemic SEC shenanigans of the last 10 years are over.

With a somewhat level playing field, with a slight burnt orange tilt, things will normalize.

Bijan in Atlanta will raise the Texas recruiting profile in SEC country like nothing before.

Bijan: No Lamborghini, huge house, recording studio, or pit bull.

Texas running back CJ Baxter (5*, .9889, Orlando, FL) flew in TODAY to be at Bijan Robinson's draft party, he told me Bijan gave him this piece of advice before he left:

"He told me to bless the people of Austin as he did"
